Aloha! Lae Nani Unit 526 was purchased just months ago by a family who wants to share this piece of paradise with others, offering a unique vacation experience to family, friends and guests.

Our condo is about a 10 minute drive from the airport and is located midway between the recreational and scenic attractions found on the island’s north and south shores. Lae Nani is located on the Coconut Coast overlooking Wailua Bay and the Pacific Ocean. It is refined and ‘Old Hawaiian’ rather than being pretentious or glitzy. Its extensive, lush grounds, swimming pool, gas grills, tennis and laundry facilities are clean and well-maintained. Parking is free. It's aglow with flowers, tropical plants and trees. It’s secluded, yet an easy walk to a large assortment of restaurants and shopping. In short, it is one of the best places to stay on Kauai.

Lae Nani has a number of accommodations for vacationers, some of which are special indeed. Our unit (526) is one of them. Here’s why:

• Unit 526 has been completely updated just this year. It has new stainless steel appliances, new bamboo flooring, new counters, new décor, a new large flatscreen television with dvd, and brand new premium mattresses and bedding (King size in the master bedroom, extra length twin beds in the second bedroom). It is light, airy and comfortable.

• Unit 526 is a true ocean-front condominium. It’s about 50 feet from the beach. Nothing obstructs the ocean view or the rhythmic sound of the waves.

• Unit 526 is a second floor condo, which means that the spacious lanai is elevated, for glorious views of the ocean, sunrises, whale-watching and privacy. Yet because of the building’s design, it’s only one ½ flight of stairs to the front door.

• Unit 526 is an end unit at the western boundary of the property, adding to its already unique location and making it very private. An extra large window not possible in interior units translates into more light and a feeling of openness.

This is a family owned condo purchased 2012 by a family from Fort Collins, Colorado. After several vacations at Lae Nani, we knew we had found a real jewel, and when this particular unit (some say the best location at Lae Nani) came up for sale we knew we had something special and we jumped at the chance. Since then, we have updated this condo to make it our home away from home. We know you will enjoy it too!

A lot of property advertised as 'ocean front.' For most it is a stretch. Not so with Unit #526! This is a true ocean/beach front condo with unobstructed views of Wailua Bay and the Pacific Ocean beyond. From the living area you could be fooled into thinking you had taken to sea, as the surf rolls just outside the lanai.

Welcoming home away from home

It is a perfect vacation spot, easy driving to many sights or just chilling at the condo. The condo itself has a feeling of spaciousness and there is as much privacy as a person desires. There is easy access to two grocery stores. The coffee plantation, a canyon drive, the national park/lighthouse were fun adventures. We also enjoyed finding the historic Episcopal church and the nearby Lutheran church. Puzzling, sitting on the lanai, trying out the pool and enjoying the scenery were "at home" highlights. The property manager was responsive/helpful on a couple of occasions that we needed him to be. The property was as beautiful as advertised on the web site. I would recommend the property if you are coming to Kauai.

Perfect vacation spot

The condo was perfect - updates were very well done, everything was immaculate and well maintained. All new appliances, and the beds are extremely comfortable. Well equiped with everything we needed. There is a central laundry room for the resort which we used for a couple of loads.
The condo has a spacious lanai for dining with a beautiful ocean view. As an end unit it is very private and quiet, and just steps from the beach.

The location is great - centrally located and an easy drive to the north or south coasts. There are a number excellent restaurants within walking distance, and grocery stores nearby.
While there we did a helicopter tour (Blue Hawaiian), rented kayaks and paddled the nearby river (we are experienced kayakers so decided to rent on our own instead of a tour), golfed, and of course checked out all the great Kauai beaches and sites. I would definately recommend this property!

Our condo is an end unit located in a lush ocean/beach front setting on the north shore of Wailua Bay. While tucked away in a very secluded setting, the condo is within walking distance of numerous restaurants (from Kintaro Japanese Restaurant to the Brick Oven Pizza) and shopping, including the outdoor mall at the Coconut Marketplace. The condo is also a short drive from the quaint town center of Kapaa, and an approximate 10 minute drive from the City of Lihue and the Lihue Airport. Centrally located on Kauai's Coconut Coast, our condo is at the same time the perfect place to relax and recharge, and an ideal jumping-off point from which to explore Kauai's numerous attractions between the North and South Shores. The most difficult decision each day (if you choose not to stay home and relax on the lanai or soak up the sun at the pool) is whether to drive north to Hanalai Bay or further along to Haena State Park to hit the Kalalau Trial to take in the breathtaking Na Pali Coast, or instead to drive south to Poipu and beyond to Polihale State Park and the beautiful open beaches on Kauai's western shore. No matter what you choose, you can't go wrong!
