Shotgun House, 2 Bedrooms, 1 Bath (Sleeps 2-6)

This private home is in the middle of everything. On Royal St, you are one block from the excitement of Bourbon St, and one block from the 'local's' favorite,Frenchman St. Walk to the French Market, or enjoy a carriage ride through the French Quarter. Between events/tours relax in the courtyard by the fountain. This recently renovated home has all the luxuries of a modern home...Flat screen TV's with cable and WiFi wireless internet. Both bedrooms have king beds, and the sofa is a fold-out queen sleeper. The single bathroom has a marble shower. All linens and towels are provided. The laundry closet has a stacked washer and dryer if needed.
About Jason Landry

Lifelong resident of New Orleans. Although I was raised in the suburbs, my grandfather grew up 4 blocks from my home. I love New Orleans...the history, the food, the climate, and music. I, like so many other 'thirty-somethings' (including my cousin who also lives a few blocks from house) am re-investing in New Orleans. And the Farburg Mariney is where so many of us are calling home.

Perfect Getaway

A group of six of us stayed for four nights and had an amazing time! The house is exactly as described; nicely updated, VERY clean, well stocked with anything you could need (kitchen, bathroom, etc.) and perfectly located. We especially loved the outdoor patio space with lighting and seating for everyone. The house is perfectly located; close to both Bourbon Street (5 minutes walking) and Frenchman Street (1/2 a block). Jason was extremely easy to deal with, quick to reply to emails and always answered his phone if we needed to call. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable and fun place to stay in New Orleans.
Recommended for:  Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Romantic Getaway

Wonderful house in a great location

I had rented this house for a group of friends flying into town for the wedding. We were all flying in from out of state and didn't have much experience with New Orleans or what to expect from the house and location. The location is amazing! Walking distance to the Spotted Cat and other great spots on Frenchman, and next door to a great Thai restaurant. Short walk to the French quarter (cafe du mond!), Cajuns and other spots we hit up. The house itself is well taken care of and very clean. The house was also stocked up with plenty of dishes and cooking stuff, and we made use of it making some light snacks for late night. The place also has a washer and dryer which can be great since after going somewhere like Cajun's we all wanted to get the smell of smoke out of our clothes. The place also has plenty of towels, so we never ran out, even when we had some rain soaked afternoons. Jason was great to work with, and I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a nice spot for group.

Thanks for the great stay. This place was perfect for our party of six. Close to the action, yet private and serene. The owner was super nice and also has one of the nicest mustaches i have ever seen personally. Big Gary
