Breathtaking views, the home was remodeled by the owner and inspired by Big Sur Post Ranch and travels through Brazil and Thailand. An open floor plan with high ceilings, skylights and rap around deck, this home is ideal for most anything your imagination desires. The fire places and color scheme add to the romantic ambiance and with 3000 square feet, it's the ideal four bedroom escape from cookie cutter norm. The dining table seats eight and the stainless kitchen and custom built-ins are great for dinner parties. This unique feeling of Big Sur without the long drive make this property an ideal spot for those who wish to feel away, yet are close to all the action Carmel by the Sea and the Monterey Peninsula have to offer. ATT Golf, Concours de' Elegance, Laguna Seca, Monterey Bay Aquarium, Point Lobos, Nepenthe, Cafe Rustica, wine tasting, golf, sightseeing, hiking on the property. We are in a dynamic micro climate rich with wildlife and a very dynamic vegetation feeling like Big Sur and Africa on this property. We are set against The Preserve which offers unlimited vistas and adventures.

What makes this chalet unique

The setting, the ease of access to everything, the delicious dinner parties, the warm sun on the mountain when downtown is fogged in, the star gazing from the hot tub or big rap around deck and an upgraded Safeway just a few minutes away make this a great place to stay. Located next to Safeway, Jeffrey's is a personal favorite and has an amazing and delicious menu for breakfast and lunch should you like to zip down the hill. Also Cafe Rustica in Carmel Village is outstanding, but a bit of a drive away from town.

Location... Location..... Location!

What an amazing location! We absolutely loved our time in this beautiful Chalet! For us the convience of having Safeway right down the road was key. The views and stylistic decor made our stay feel so decadent! We could be down at the beautiful carmel beach with our dog within minutes.... Or be on a hike at the world renowned Garland park! We also loved the proximity to three world class spas!
We also enjoyed the outdoor jacuzzi under the star lit nights...... Not to mention the therapeutic indoor jacuzzi as well! We will definitly be back and couldn't imagine a better location nor a more beautiful home!!!!
