What a great place to stay!! My husband and I felt this was the best rental home we have had and we've been to many around the country. We had excellent fall weather and were able to take the Going to the Sun Road to the east side and came back on Route 2 to stop for dinner at the Isaac Walton Inn. The food was great and the atmosphere made me feel as if Teddy Roosevelt himself might show up for dinner. We had several dinners at the Belton Chalet which is always fabulous. We took a trip to Whitefish and walked around the galleries and stores and had dinner at the Tupelo Grill which is excellent.
Because the cabin is so well equipped, we cooked dinner a few times and were able to entertain family and friends. The cabin is immaculate and inviting and even better than it looks. At night, we all just hung out in the cabin together. We walked every morning around the neighborhood which is mostly wooded with dirt roads and a few cabins sprinkled in the woods. Just beautiful! It's so comfortable, we all felt right at home and wish we could have stayed all winter! Thanks for helping us create memories from West Glacier that will last a lifetime!
We had a wonderful time with our family of 6 in this cabin. The owner has very helpful with helping to plan our trip. We enjoyed the ability to grill and eat outside. The cabin is an easy short drive to the West Glacier entrance. Had a wonderful time
Everything was fantastic. Location, cleanliness, fully-stocked kitchen, roominess and proximity to restaurants and nearby towns.
The house was spacious, clean and in a wonderful location. The kids loved the upstairs sitting room and had a 3 day monopoly game going! The kitchen was well stocked and we used the grill which our family seems to not be able to live without. The location was a 2 minute drive to the West Glacier Entrance which is important for getting to the park early and only a short drive to Whitefish for more activities. When we come back to Glacier, this is the place we will stay. The owner, Lisa, makes great recommendations for activities. After a full day of activities, it is was great to be coming back to the house!
Great vacation rental. Owners were friendly and communicated very well. Home was well stocked with everything. Even had coffee :-)). We just bought our food from the local grocery store. Very quiet. Rafting company it across the street but didn't bother anyone in the slightest. We would go back to same rental if we had to do it again.
Lisa was great to deal with. She always returned calls and emails very promptly. Her house was very clean and comfortable. Our family and one other family stayed there, and it was a great place to come home to at the end of each day.
