Great place

  • 4 of 5
This place was great. It is an older home that has been meticulously cared for. Scott has done a great job of keeping it clean, looking great, and well-maintained. We were a little unsure at first because we originally had our hearts set on being downtown but it turned out to be a great location with a short 10 minute ride downtown on the bus from a stop that was only a couple blocks away. The house is only a few blocks from the zoo which features outdoor concerts during the summer so if you have the chance, get tickets to one. The house is also within walking distance of many fabulous restaurants and coffee shops (many of which we tried out). We would absolutely rent this place again for a return trip to Seattle.

SLEPT BETTER THAN AT HOME!!

  • 5 of 5
Thanks to the portable air conditioner and comfortable bed, I slept great, even through the fireworks! It was so convenient to walk just 2 blocks and take the Metro Bus to Husky Stadium. We had 3 vehicle's and parking was never an issue near the house. The only thing lacking in the kitchen was a juice pitcher. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks, Scott

Great place, great location

  • 5 of 5
We stayed at this location for 11 days and it was perfect! The location makes many things walkable. The apartment was clean and very suitable for 3 of us. The pillows and beds were some of the most comfortable I have ever slept on! Also appreciated the thick towels. It was great to have such a new washer/dryer at our disposable. Parking was never a problem. We will stay here again when we return to Seattle! Thanks, Scott!

3-month stay over summer 2013

  • 5 of 5
The listing and photos are accurate. The apartment was clean and well-equipped. Scott is a very accommodating and responsive owner. The apartment was pleasant, informal, with great natural light and through breezes. With a couple of fans Scott provided air-conditioning was not needed all summer. The location is super, very near the zoo and within easy walking of a number of eateries, coffee shops, and a small market, plus one block away from Aurora freeway which can whiz you downtown in 10 minutes (not during rush hour). The kitchen and bath are rather small, but Scott created the most functionality in the space he had to work with.

For 2 adults this is ideal for a few days, weeks, and even months. Probably a couple of children could be there as well up to a week or two.
