Infrastructure: This vacation spot offers numerous cultural activities. Using the Hamburg Card you are independent and can experience the city in an inexpensive way. For visits in the theatre, concerts, opera and other events, you can choose if you want to use the close-by, economical city train provided by the Hamburg Traffic Association, or if you prefer the fast connection via the motorway A7. Any way, you reach Hamburg within a short trip and also the return to your holiday home will be fast.
We offer an economical alternative for your vacation, about 22 km south of Hamburg, at the motorway A7 in the district of Harburg, on the southern outskirts of Hamburg - this is where you find our enchanting village. Here you mainly find active agriculture. There is a grocery shop, a bakery, a restaurant, a restaurant, a gas station, a doctor's office and the Haflinger stud farm Heidjers-Peerstall. There is rolling scenery with small rivers, small forests and meadows. Hikers, Bikers and horse riders find a heavenly area without any boundaries. A real masterpiece, perfectly maintained - a northern course that offers a real challenge to all golfers. Very undulated greens with altitude differences of partly more than 2 m and more, and putts of up to 60 m length await the players.
In about 10 km, the Harburg Hills await you with the 'Land- & Golf-Club Hittfeld'. The special feature of this club will become obvious once you enter it; the entrance through the quaint Altländer Tor (gate), up the alleyway that is lined with birch trees and inside the riding stable: next to playing golf you can also go horse riding (23 stalls and horse riding instructors) with an top-of-the-range riding arena. This golf course is an athletic challenge. On hot summer days, a pretty swimming pool in the forest offers relaxation.
The club is an oasis for winding down with numerous athletic activities. The challenging golfing offers of this unique parkland course with its old tree is complemented by the possibilities of going swimming, horse riding and playing tennis. Member of recognized golf clubs are welcome as guests after signing up in the administration office. Members and guests treat each other in an open and friendly manner.
Ski: The first indoor skiing slope in Norther Germany is located only few minutes’ drive in Bispingen. Here, you can go skiing on 365 days a year and gain first skiing experiences. Ski classes are always offered. What about water skiing? Not far from us, in Harburg, you find the first waterski lift in Hamburg.
