Condo, 2 Bedrooms, 2 Baths (Sleeps 5)

Perched on sandstone bluffs overlooking the pacific ocean, the del mar beach club is the ideal place for beach lovers. The community has an east side and a west side... We are on the west side (ocean side)!

Our two bedroom/2 bath condominium is right at the main pool (the only heated pool on the west side), and just a thirty second walk to the private stairs leading to the beautiful sandy surf coves below. After a day at the beach, plunge into the sun-soaked pool or jacuzzi a dozen steps from your front door. The private gym, saunas, and gas BBQs are also right there! In the late afternoon, stroll to the view deck, or relax in the view lounge and watch the sun set over the sea. For entertainment, the race track, fairgrounds, restaurants, shopping and bars of Solana beach and del mar village are all minutes away.

Amenities within the home include remodeled kitchen and bathrooms, hardwood floors, WiFi, large flat screen TV with cable/DVR, a generous front garden patio, and a peaceful rear patio garden off the master bedroom.

State of the art appliances including new full sized side-by-side lg washer/dryer, wine fridge, and incredibly quiet dishwasher ensure your stay is comfortable and peaceful.

If you’re looking for a holiday home where you can simply park your car and never use it until it’s time to leave, look no further.

This is the first time we have ever rented our home for the Summer, so I only have one review, but I assure you won't be disappointed.... it's much nicer than a typical rental, its a real home!!!

About Emmett Russell

When Solana Beach was just a sleepy beach town, my parents owned a home on the same bluffs as my condo here at the Del Mar Beach Club. Enjoying the wonderful surf and sun as a kid, It became a dream to own my own home here someday. After graduating college at University of San Diego, I went on to become a broadcast Meteorologist for a local television station. That's when my dream came true and I purchased this condo just steps from the sea. Several years ago, I left broadcasting to help other people find their dream homes by becoming a realtor. I hope you enjoy this condo as much as I do. I couldn't imagine a better place to vacation...or live!

Why Emmett Russell chose Del Mar

The Del Mar Beach club has it all. Private steps to the sand, as well as multiple pools, jacuzzi and tennis courts. I purchased my unit because of the location. The large front patio sits on a large greenbelt adjacent to the pool. This provides beautiful views from the living room, dining room and kitchen. The bedrooms in the rear are quiet and the master has a wonderful private garden accessed through sliding doors. Not to mention, I can be in the water surfing within 5 minutes of leaving my front door!

What makes this condo unique

Located on the ground floor, the 2 bedroom condo is just about 12 steps to the pool complex. Within the complex you will find a large heated pool, jacuzzi, his and her saunas, a fitness room, and sunning deck. Adjacent to this also steps away, is a large greenbelt with plenty of space to throw a football or just lay down and relax (great for vacation photos too).

Of course, surfing, swimming and sunning at our beautiful beaches are usually the main attractions, but if you're ready to explore what's beyond the sand, there's plenty to do! The horses are on the track at the del mar race track and fairgrounds...Just an easy walk right across the street from the condo. The San Diego county fair is great for 4th of July fireworks, rides for all ages, and great concerts, many of them free with admission. Cross the bridge spanning the train tracks and find restaurants and world famous shopping in the Cedros design district. Speaking of the train, the Solana beach train station is also within walking distance from the condo (just 1.1 mile). Simply jump on the coaster train for a scenic ride down the coast to the hip and historical Gaslamp district for dancing, dining and entertainment in the heart of downtown. For history buffs, the coaster can also take you to beautiful old town San Diego, or to little Italy for the best pizza outside of the homeland.

My family enjoyed staying at this cozy home on the beach. The landlord provided everything possible for us to make nice dinners and play on the shore. It couldnt have been any better.
