LOCATION:
Beautiful property of 11 hectars set among the peacefull hills of Tuscany surrounding the town of Lucca. It overlooks a typical Tuscanian landscape and is located only 20 km from the sea. The closer airports are Pisa Galileo Galilei at 30 min. drive and Firenze Amerigo Vespucci at 50 min. drive. The house is located on top of a green hill fenced in and covered by vegetation, mainly populated by olive trees within a very silent place.
The property is within a five minutes walk from a little typical ancient Tuscanian village.
THE PROPERTY:
It is composed by two indipendent old Tuscanian houses, each one on three floors, the bigger one is 240 sq m (2500 sq ft), the smaller one 160 sq m (1700 sq ft). both sorrounded by beautiful terraced gardens with sofas and tables that enhable to live the entire day outside..
The swimming pool, set on a terraced garden about 50 m from the houses, is an overflow high design 15 m long completely immersed in the nature with shoreline on one side diving into the pool that goes gradually from ground level to 3 meters deph. By the pool there are a little kitchen and a dressing/bathroom (with shower) built into the rocks and a terrace with a dining table.
The property is surrounded by a great vegetation and flowers, specially roses, all coming from the passionate research of the owner.
THE HOUSE:
It is composed by two three floors houses, the main one is a XVIII century tipical country building, the smaller one is an old barn converted into an habitabile house. They have been both renovated about 15 years ago by the actual owner with traditional materials matched with a refined taste furnishing. It is fully equipped with all conforts.
Both the houses have a main entrance on the first floor and a second entrance on the ground floor accessible from the terrace.
MAIN HOUSE:
First floor:
Main Entrance, living room with a fireplace and stereo, television room with fireplace (with flat TV, satellite and DVD player), one studio room (with computer and internet connection) with a sofa which is composed by a beautiful antique wooden single bed that can be used, one bathroom with the shower.
Second floor:
One double-bed room with bathroom (with bathtub), one single bedroom, two double bed-rooms, one bathroom (with bathtub).
Ground floor:
Big dining room with two glass doors that lead to a big main terrace (open to the garden) with dining table and sofas facing the hills; kitchen, storage room, loundry, service room with bathroom (with shower).
SMALLER HOUSE:
First floor:
Entrance, living room with fireplace and dining room, kitchen.
Second floor:
One double-bed room, one single room, one bathroom (with bathtub).
Ground floor:
One double-bed room, bathroom (with bathtub), studio/television room (with flat TV, satellite and DVD player) with a glass-door that lead to a terrace (open to the garden) with dining table and sofas.
TERRACES:
One main terrace outside the dining room in the lower floor with dining table and sofas facing the green hills. One terrace outside the smaller house.
Two terrace with sofas and table facing the garden and the forest.
One terrace at the swimming pool with dining table.
An housekeeper english speaking is available to clean and cook every day.
Parking space available for several cars.
Additional services can be provided: transportation to and from the airport/railway station, private chef, etc.
