15 MILES FROM JACKSON, AMAZING TETON VIEWS

Jackson Hole Cabin Rental Photos and Description

2 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom, 6 Sleeps, Incredible Mountain Views

Our place provides you with a 1600 square foot home, 1 full bath downstairs, 1/2 bath upstairs outside of the master bedroom. The best features of our home are the incredible views outside every window, especially the Grand Teton view out your living room window, the wildlife that wander nearby, the brand new furnishings and the close proximity to the biking and hiking trails in Grand Teton National Park. Our home is NOT a condo or apartment in a subdivision or 'neighborhood' or gated community. Our place is in the heart of Grand Teton National Park with some neighbors nearby on the 'bench' of Antelope Flats Bluff.

SCAMMER ALERT: We value our clients protection. Homeaway and VRBO have had some phishing problems. If anyone contacts you asking you to do a wire transfer or offering deep discounts, it is not us! We would never ask a client to wire payment. Call VRBO immediately if you are contacted by someone asking you to do this.

Biking: In Spring, Summer and Fall, Jackson Hole is an avid bicycling community. Miles of trails wind in and around the Jackson Hole valley, offering varied terrain and varied difficulty levels. From steep climbs and descents to flat, smooth dirt roads with Privacy abounds here in front of the spectacular views, the Jackson Hole area has rides for bikers of all abilities.

Antelope Flats road: A flat easy bike ride through the heart of the Jackson Hole Valley, expect to see bison, and possibly pronghorn and coyotes.

Jenny Lake: a large, sparkling lake right at the foot of the Grand Teton and Cascade Canyon. This is the terminus of the new, paved, multi-use trail that begins near our cabin and the town of Jackson.

2 bedrooms with queen beds and a double futon bed provide sleeping for 6.

We provide WiFi for your use. There is no TV or cable provided. Instead of TV/cable, we hope you take advantage of the views and the incredible opportunities for biking, hiking, rafting, mountaineering, etc.

All amenities are provided from linens, microwave, oven/range, dishes/pots/pans, refrigerator, comfortable bedding, couches, please bring your pet indoors at night, but not on the furniture.

If you have an RV, you can park it in the yard and plug it into the electrical plugin, but there are no services for sewer, water, hookups. You can hook up to water.

This home as been in our family since 1954. My father and mother purchased the land and in the early 60's began to build a summer home here to provide the family an escape from the city life of Los Angeles. We moved from California to Alaska in 1984 and still love coming 'home' to our gem right in front of the Teton Mountains. We have a very special spot here as we are one of very few that have a National Park in holding. Over the years, many upgrades have occurred, but it was built as a family retreat for those who enjoyed the great outdoors. We have always loved our second home here in the Tetons, but never feel like we get to enjoy enough time here, but by being able to offer it for nightly rentals during the summer months we are hoping to share this incredible place with newcomers and our family. We are hoping to keep our special place here in Moose, in Jackson Hole, for a very long time and we hope you will enjoy it as much as we have over the years.

Lisa May purchased this cabin in 1955

My Dad purchased this homesite in 1954 for a few reasons: to get closer to the outdoors that he loved and to bring up his 3 daughters to appreciate the lovely mountains, whether it was through hiking, backpacking, riding bikes, rafting on the Snake River or just relaxing on the deck and enjoying the views.

Our home is very close to biking trails in Grand Teton National Park. A few miles away are spectacular hiking trails, access to mountain climbing and both scenic and whitewater rafting, kayaking and canoeing and world class trout fishing.

What an amazing view...

What an amazing view....we spent hours looking through the window at the magnificent mountains.

We didn’t encounter any wildlife at the cabin but plenty in surrounding areas. One evening we were on the back porch and some some bison. We drove out Antelope Flats Road and found a herd of at least 200.

We got up early twice and drove out Teton Park Road and saw several bull moose and large herds of elk. We enjoyed watching the male elk gather his cows andbugle at other male elks in his territory.

One afternoon, we drove up to signal Mountain and enjoyed the great views. We had lunch at Jackson Lake Lodge and marvelled at their view and the wonderful murals.

This has been a vacation we will never forget. We feel so fortunate to have found your lovely “diamond in the rough” to rent.

Myself, my husband and my sister....

Myself, my husband and my sister had the pleasure of staying here for two weeks. A close friend also visited for one week. We had a splendid stay from beginning to end. Such a magical, beautiful setting. The house is lovely as well. We went on several hikes, (the weather was sunny as always) in the Tetons, as well as a few climbs up Snow King. In addition we took we took numerous bike trips on the local back roads and on the bike paths through the park and into Jackson. Not a day went by that I did not gaze at the magnificent view outside these windows! Throughout the stay we saw plenty of bison, antelope, moose (including calf), black bear, elk, coyotes, fox. Downtown Jackson Hole and Teton Village proved to be as charming as my past visits. I am so sad to leave and hope to visit again soon! Thank you for the opportunity to rent your home-best -Amy and Simon, Rhode Island.

Such amazing views here! and your home is beautiful and thanks for sharing it with us. Everyday we were visited by humming birds, chipmunks, and on our last day we were delayed getting back because a herd of buffalo were grazing throughout the neighborhood.

Thank you,

This is our first trip to Wyoming....

This is our first trip to Wyoming. We love the cabin. It is comfortable and peaceful.

There are so many things to do, we will have to return soon. My favorites are, of course, the view and the bison grazing next to the driveway.

Thank you for the opportunity to stay in this cabin. It has been a week we will never forget.
