“Caddy Shack at Spinnakers Reach” is a beach house which was custom built as a family home, not as a rental bunkhouse. It is located in a private neighborhood with community pool and boat dock. Google maps may err and show the location as inland but this house is actually on a 75 foot wide lot directly on the oceanfront with private boardwalk to the beach. This neighborhood of privately owned homes has “piano key” lots so the houses next door are 150-200 feet closer to the street, ie further from the beach. Caddy Shack is close to the beach and the beach here is wide, providing protection from storms.
Caddy Shack is a luxury 4 bedroom (K*Q*Q*2T*T) 4.5 bath beach house with 75 feet of beach directly on the oceanfront in the private community of Spinnakers Reach, Emerald Isle, NC. The custom design provides panoramic views from every room. Three bedrooms have expansive ocean views, the fourth bedroom on the street side has a view of the ocean from the west window. Even the street side porch and the laundry room both have views of the ocean to the east. The bedrooms are spacious and three of them provide sitting areas for luxurious relaxing in private instead of that beach “bunkhouse” feel. The loft provides breathtaking views from the sunrise in the east to the sunset in the west with window seat and twin bed as well as two sofas for relaxing with TV, room for playing games and a full bath. The huge master suite has direct access to the deck, large walk-in closet, whirlpool tub & two vanities. The home has been updated with granite in the kitchen, bathrooms, bar, and laundry. There are two hot/cold enclosed outdoor showers with dry changing area, an air-conditioned play room, powder room, and ping pong table on the ground level. There is a spa and a private walkway directly onto the beach. A community pool is just a few doors away and a boat dock is available in Spinnakers Landing on the sound side of the island. Flowering plants and palms enhance the tropical setting and views from the deck, which is partly open to the sun and partly protected with a true covered porch. Beds will be made before your arrival and a mid-week tidy will ensure you have time to focus on relaxing on the beach. Two refrigerators, a water filter system, a large pantry, three 32-inch tvs plus two additional TVs, wireless internet, and comfortable furniture will make your vacation at Caddy Shack a relaxing get-away for your family.
