About Peggy Kennedy
Ric and I have been married 20 years. We are survivors who put our right foot forward and keep dreamning new dreams.
We spend our time between Kingsville and Wilberforce (Haliburton/Bancroft). Florida is a frequent holiday destination as we settle my Mother for the snowbird season.
I enjoy sailing, kayaking, canoeing, metal smithing (jewelry making) quilting, painting, reading, learning and writing.
Ric enjoys the classic car hobby with his 34 Plymouth Sedan, as well as carpentry.
We are animal lovers and have a 14 year old male Maine Coon, named Chance and a 2 year old female Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Charley.
We focus on quality of life, maintaining our health and dreaming new dreams.
Ric and I try to stay at our other home during the height of birding and wine season. We have a lock box for the key. We hire out to have the house cleaned between vacationers.
We will consider monthly rental through the winter months. contact us directly at 519 819 7503

Why Peggy Kennedy chose Harrow
Our place has location, location, location. We have the most spectacular unobstructed views: sunrises, sunsets, birds, boats, ships, weather and great swimming. The Chirping Grapevine is ideally located within the heart of wine and bird country. Ideally situated half way between Point Pelee and Holiday Beach for the bird watchers and centred for the wineries of your choice. Kingsville is a quaint little hamlet with restaurants, groceries, drug store, restaurants, video rental, library for you to explore. There are wineries in every direction. I have provided a page with necessary information to make your selections and planning easier. Within wine country you also find Ontario's food industry with farms and greenhouse operations aplenty. Enjoy eating local grown food and grazing the farmers stands for your favourites. Add a bottle of wine from one of the local wineries and enjoy a fabulous local grown meal.
What makes this bungalow unique
I fell in love with the view. Location, Location, Location. We are located on a rock ridge; High and dry. The houses on the other side of the road back onto the creek while we are on Lake Erie. From my Great Room or the deck I experience the diversity of birds, the frolicking, antics and inner play, both on the lake and land. Listen to the waves crashing or the gentle swish of water on a calm day/night. Watch the wind shift and the waves change direction. Watch white caps on a high wind or view the birds on the sand bar during quiet weather.
I love to walk, we have trails everywhere. Easy to access and enjoyable to traverse. Walk down the street and then onto Cedar Beach. Walk along the water in the sand. Head, by car, down Arner Town Line and park at the Cedar Creek entrance and parking, to enjoy the walking trails, or canoe, kayak. I love to sail and there are several marinas at just down the street at Cedar Beach.
Cedar Island also has a huge public beach for the beach goers. I love Kingsville's central location.
Guestbook comments from the manager
We are leaving tomorrow. We had a great time thank you for letting us in your cottage.
We did not know what to do with the trash so we left them close to the door on the inside. Let me know if you prefer other arrangement.
We will leave tomorrow afternoon.
Thanks again and perhaps till next year.
