Private & stunning southwestern residence.

Incredible Views. 3 bedroom, 3 bath, multilevel Adobe Territorial Style home nestled in a seasoned neighborhood within the Catalina Foothills. The home is private and the living space affords luxurious space with abundant privacy afforded by all the levels of living. Fabulous space for sharing in small travel groups because of the split level and many 'gathering' places both indoors and outdoors.

You are surrounded by the natural beauty of the Sonoran Desert when you're at the Pueblo house. You can have the entire 3000+ sq. ft. space to yourself or share travel time with friends. The split-level, open-spaced, high-ceiling design gives beauty and privacy even within the interior of the home. There are also multiple levels of outdoor living. About Lori Lippman

We are long-time Tucson residents who love Tucson and love our home in the Catalina Foothills.

Lori Lippman purchased this house in 1997

Why Lori Lippman chose Tucson

We adore privacy. It's the Southwest, land of the infamous outlaws. What we have here is space. We have beauty and privacy. Our home brings us a personal kind of Peace. It's what we love about it.

What makes this house unique

Privacy above all. Art is abundant throughout the home. There are also multiple levels of outdoor living. Pool (unheated in winter) and BBQ area has stunning views as do the 2 balconies off of Master Bedroom Suite.

Guestbook comments from the owner

I love the quiet, serene privacy and the continuous views of the Catalina Mountains and the city below. We were within 20 minutes of everything we wanted to do while we were here. The beds are really comfortable. We went to DeGrazia's Gallery in the Sun which was a big surprise. Then we went to the theater down by the university. Our last Sunday we went up to Finger Rock on Mr. Lemon and took amazing pictures. Just loved the house. Felt like home.

Coming to Tucson? This is your house.

Casa Blanca is a quiet, cool, spacious multi-level house in the foothills above Tucson with everything to offer. It has a beautiful well-stocked kitchen with granite counter tops and top-rated appliances. A lovely swimming pool with rock waterfall, a koi pond (they let you feed the fish!), an outdoor fireplace, two indoor fireplaces (one in the master bedroom), and two decks off the master - one for city lights and one for star gazing. It is filled with lovely art, it has a huge TV, an enormous leather sectional, exercise equipment, and very comfortable beds. Dining table for eight plus kitchen seating as well. We loved watching the multiple bird's nests get tended to in the suargo just past the back wall, and we picked grapefruit and oranges off the two patio trees for breakfast. Perfect layout for families with teens who appreciate extra peace and quiet. You should see the fabulous heart-shaped bubbling bathtub for two in the master bedroom. Ideally located not far from Sabino Canyon. There's a small shopping center with an upscale grocery store only a few minutes drive away that also has a Thai place, an Italian restaurant, a Subway, a Walgreens, and a cute little gift shop/ cross-stitch place called The West that was a huge unexpected bonus. This house is secluded and private down a long driveway, yet we felt perfectly safe. Charming and gracious hostess who left flowers for us to find upon arrival. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Fantastic Home!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I rented Casa Blanca for 6 weeks this past winter. During that time, we hosted our 3 adult children and 1 grandchild, and the home's set up for this was absolutely perfect--great "together" space along with great "private" space. The lower split level affords lots of privacy. My husband and I especially loved the 2 awesome master bedroom balconies--one facing far off mountains and gorgeous sunsets and the other facing looming mountains close by. We love to hike the foothills, and the house has great access to hiking trails to the north. We're from a big city, and we could not believe how incredibly quiet it was, yet it's also conveniently located to amenities, such as Whole Foods, to the south. The patio was great, and we rented portable heaters to spend more time out there. Casa Blanca is the perfect way to have an enjoyable, authentic desert experience--can't recommend it enough!

Wonderful Home

  • 5 of 5

We absolutely loved our weekend stay at Casa Blanca! The unique decor, the views, the coy pond, the pool, the Jacuzzi tub, everything was suburb. Our guests that had never been to Tucson loved the mountain views and the unique southwest feel of the home. The owner was very friendly and accommodating to our needs. We'd definitely stay here again!

We very much enjoyed our stay in Tuscon the home was a perfect point for our family to relax. We attended a wedding a short distance way and the home allowed us to unwind. Great views and the home was very nicely detailed. I would definately stay there again. The owner even left us flowers at our arrival.

Unique & beautiful home!

  • 5 of 5

As a former Tucsonan returning for a family visit in the July heat, I was looking for a "getaway" - a place where we could enjoy staying in when it was too hot to want to venture out - and this home turned out to be an absolute treasure, far exceeding my expectations! This is a large, multilevel house with bedrooms divided between upper and lower levels, allowing a sense of privacy and separation for sleeping, and a spacious, open middle level with kitchen, dining room, living room and fitness room for shared activities. Our group of four, ranging from 18 - 80 years of age, was well accommodated here (although the outside steps were a bit of a challenge for the oldest in the group). The house is so generously furnished and decorated that it feels like a well-appointed home rather than a vacation rental - in addition to being filled with quality, comfortable furniture, there are literally dozens of unique art pieces throughout the home and patio. The house is situated in a quiet foothills neighborhood with curvy roads, beautiful views, and lots of wildlife - private, but still convenient to the city. There are numerous picture windows allowing an assortment of views - a Koi pond off the living room, enclosed patio with pool and desert landscaping in the background, and decks off the master bedroom overlooking city lights on one side and the Catalina mountains on the other. The pool is adjacent to the house, which worked well for us with no small children in the group - and the waterfall/filtration system made it particularly relaxing. Written instructions and cues throughout the house (e.g. light switches, stereo/tv, etc.) helped with learning how things work. The owner was a pleasure to work with, friendly, professional and accommodating, even having a "luxury" air mattress made up and ready for my son. It's a very special property, and of all the places I've rented in Tucson over the years, this one was by far the hardest one to leave!
