House, 3 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms, + Outdoor shower (Sleeps 8 comfortably in beds)

Welcome to A Shore Thing! This historic home has recently undergone a massive renovation inside & out that was completed in February 2013. It has an open floor plan, and has been updated to modern standards, with all the decorative touches you would love to see in a vacation home. Outside you can park your boat in one of our boat slips, fish off the boardwalk, or have dinner with friends & family on whatever level of beautiful deck you choose!

‘A Shore Thing’ features a lakefront master bedroom containing French doors that lead to a wonderful deck that’s just perfect for sipping a drink and watching the sun rise & set over Lake Hamilton. This room is also equipped with a king size bed & LCD TV for your viewing pleasure. In the second and third bedrooms you will find queen size beds & LCD televisions. We also have a sleeper sofa in the living room allowing two more guests to comfortably sleep in the home. The living area is equipped with Wi-Fi and surround throughout the home & outdoors.

This lakefront property is a piece of Hot Springs history, as it is part of the very first resort on Lake Hamilton. Many years ago there was an underground casino (when gambling was ‘illegal’) inside of our neighbors home, and gangsters such as Al Capone were known to frequent here.

'A Shore Thing' is centrally located on the main channel of Lake Hamilton. A public boat ramp is right down the road at Hill Wheatley Park. Marineland, a full service marina, is directly across the cove (slightly more than a stone's throw away). The Hot Springs Regional Airport, Harvest Foods, Walgreens, Kroger, Wal-Mart, McClard's, Smokin' N Style, Hawgs Pizza, Sonic, and McDonald's are all a few minutes from 'A Shore Thing.' Scenic downtown Hot Springs, and its wonderful art galleries, spas, shopping, and fun restaurants such as Fat Jack's, Rolando's, and the Brau Haus are less 10 minutes away, as well as fabulous racing at Oaklawn Park.

What a delightful place to stay. With a wonderful location, yet quiet and serene including a wonderful sunrise view. The decor is wonderful and appliances and tV's of the highest quality. A wonderful sitting area down below, on the lake, brings an end to each day in a very peaceful environment. Wonderful place !!!

Awesome home!!

This house was amazing! It was better than we had imagined. It was decorated beyond belief and was absolutley gorgeous. We had plenty of room and throughly enjoyed the deck! We had no problems finding it either. our reservations was so easy too. We tried out the recommended "Fat Jacks" downtown and had a blast. We are already planning our trip for next year......that is if it is still available!! Thank you to the homeowners for their awesome hospitality ~

FIVE STARS ALL THE WAY!!!!

My husband and I usually stay in a hotel when we go to Hot Springs, but this time we decided to change it up a bit, and boy are we glad we did!!! The views of the surrounding area from this home are absolutely stunning to say the least... The decorative touches are spot on... Pictures don't do it justice!! There are so many great things I could say about this place (to say the least I could go on and on), but I will wrap it up by saying we will definitely be back during racing season next year (if not sooner), and will be sure to bring along some friends to join in on the fun with us. *****5 stars all the way!!!!!*****

This house was better than we had imagined!! The pictures do not do it justice. There was plenty of room and we felt right at home. The deck was amazing with a terrific view!! I could really go on and on about how great it was. You should definately give this house a visit ~ We had a terrific time and are already planning to come back next year!!
