Wonderful Time at the Beach
We had been anticipating our trip since making the commitment to rent a condo in early June, 2012. As we drove closer and crossed bridges with beautiful views, our anticipation turned to excitement. Our condo complex and covered parking space were quickly identified and we easily found the elevator and cart to transport our belongings to the unit. Upon opening the door we knew we would be enjoying our next few weeks in our home away from home. The mat at the front door to our unit even stated, "Welcome to Paradise". How true, as it was a beautiful warm day and we couldn't wait to get unpacked and check out the beach. The unit just sparkled with a new update of welcoming warm colors, comfortable furnishings, attractive artwork and everything we could possibly need. Plentiful towels, dishes, kitchen utensils, iPod docking stations in each bedroom, full linen closet, cleaning supplies, note paper, stapler, and even paper clips. Clearly everything to make the stay of the guests comfortable had been supplied. With the beach easily accessible through a lovely paved, well-maintained courtyard with pool and whirlpool, the complex is conveniently located in a quieter section of the island. We were impressed with all of the locally owned restaurants and shops and the easy access to other islands and near-by cities. Some of our favorite dining places were: Beach Bistro, Waterfront, Eat Here, Gecko's, Moore's, Beach House, Sharkey's, Star Fish Cafe, and O'Shucks. Our favorite shopping places were The Sand Dollar, St. Armand's Square in Sarasota, and the art/craft fairs on Sunday afternoons at Bridge Street and Coquina Beach. The listing photos are professionally done and clearly depict all of the amenities of the condo. We highly recommend this condo for a comfortable, enjoyable, and relaxing vacation.
