If you do decide to take a Sunday drive, easy access to the 101 freeway is less than 1 minute away.
The lazy bay is a pet friendly house, equipped with small doggie door going out to backyard.
We bought the house at the end of 2012. After spending vacations in Ventura we fell in love with the area. The beach lifestyle, surfing, kite boarding and diving are what make Ventura an amazing place to live and visit!
The relaxing and friendly vibe of the Pierpont neighborhood is what sets it apart from all others.
Sarah & Andy purchased this house in 2012
Ventura has something for everyone, family fun such as; Marina Park, famous for ‘the ship’ with the flying fox, Ventura to Ojai paved bike path, miniature golf at Golf N’ Stuff and Historic Ventura Pier. For the adventurous and the active there are surf breaks, sport fishing, kite surfing and several hiking trails. From nearby Harbor Village there are boat tours that can take you scuba diving, whale watching, snorkeling and exploring the nearby islands, beaches and wildlife. You can also rent bikes, surfboards, paddleboats and kayaks. Organize a wine tour on the Ventura County Wine trail which stretches from Malibu to Ojai. You must experience the relaxed chilled vibe of Main Street, a short 5-minute drive or take a 15- minute leisurely bike ride into downtown, where you can shop in boutique stores and find treasures in the funky thrift shops. There’s also fine dining, casual dining, coffee shops, wine tasting, museums, galleries, Historic Town Hall and a local movie theater. Main Street also offers an exciting nightlife experience, where you can enjoy live concerts, live theater (Check show times @ Rubicon Theater Company) and several bars and restaurants to choose from.
We also recommend a visit to Santa Barbara; a scenic 30-minute drive up the Pacific Coast Highway to see the beautiful beaches, mountains, pier and restaurants in the area, the Santa Barbara Zoo is also a fun and affordable day for the family. Another must see destination is Solvang, a quaint Danish village in the hills, windmills, clogs and all. Solvang offers shopping, Danish eateries and lots of great wine tasting.
