This newly renovated, beautiful and spacious Wild Dunes home (located on one of Wild Dunes “Out Islands”) offers the best of everything – stunning South Carolina marsh views, wildlife galore, quiet serenity, a private boardwalk that meanders through the marsh leading you to a secluded beach (almost like having your own private beach!), and, when you want more action, a free golf cart for quick access to the rest of the busy resort with great tennis, golf and swimming. This 4350 square foot home offers plenty of room for everyone to spread out and find his own special space.
From the minute you walk in through the large entryway you will be amazed at the openness of the design – almost a 360 degree view of the marsh, ocean, Intracoastal Waterway, and Dewees Island and Inlet. Space, space, space – from the huge kitchen (outfitted with everything a chef could ask for) with it’s dining table for 10 +, additional seating at the bar, to the bonus sun room located right off of the kitchen (perfect for curling up with a good book, watching TV, or just “hanging out'), to the extremely spacious living area with several different seating options (either watching TV, warming up around the fireplace, sitting in the lounge chairs overlooking the marsh, or working a puzzle at the game table). If you prefer to do your “at home socializing” outside – we have plenty of space for that too! There is the large screen porch located off the kitchen with comfy seating, a “hanging bed” screened porch off the first floor guest bedrooms, and the open deck off the living space with Adirondack chairs overlooking the marsh and Intracoastal. There are also two large decks located off of each of the upstairs bedrooms (each with 2 chaise lounges). All outside areas offer stunning views.
The two downstairs bedrooms have a shared bathroom plus another 1/2 bath. The first of these has a queen bed with a fireplace; the second guestroom is a Nautical bunk room with innovative “floating bunk beds” that sleeps 4. Take the curving staircase to the upstairs landing to one of the best views in the house -- and a perfect place just to sit, daydream or contemplate the stunning vistas. On the second floor, your family can enjoy a friendly game of pool in the poolroom before shuffling off to bed in either of two master bedrooms - one with a queen bed and jacuzzi tub, or the other, a huge master suite with king bed, ultra luxe Temperapedic mattress and shower large enough for two. Both of these upstairs bedrooms open to large open air decks. All of our bedrooms offer 300 thread count top of the line bedding, and each room has its own TV. And, of course, for the guest who wants to stay connected, we offer complimentary WiFi. On a case- by- case basis, renters may have access to an elevator (additional fee applies). We’ve also included the Wild Dunes “Sportscard” to make sure you have access to everything this great resort has to offer…although it may be hard to make yourself leave this special oasis of a house
