I vacationed on St. Simons Island for many years and bought this condo because of my love of coastal Georgia.
My condo has a relaxing atmosphere but is still centrally located to shopping, restaurants, and the beach.
My husband and I visit the area frequently. He is from the area, and we were married on Jekyll so this was the obvious place for our 5 year anniversary. We couldn't have asked for a better bang for the buck when we stayed at this condo. It is very well stocked with everything you will need for cooking and to feel comfortable. We felt right at home and it was a quiet complex. The pool area looked nice though we stuck to the beach. It is also the most convenient spot we have ever stayed. It was walking distance to a lot of places including Monkey Wrench where we were able to rent bikes for a few days. Also walking distance to the best bbq place that we usually eat at multiple times a visit. Another plus was it was easy to find. Right off a main road but the trees and all make it feel more away from it all than it really is. I think the absolutely only thing I think would be a beneficial addition to the condo is maybe hanging curtains in the bedroom. There is a street light that shines right through the blinds on the head end of the bed. Other than that we have nothing but appraisals! Convenience, great price, quiet, and all the amenities. What else could you ask for! We will definitely stay here again! Thanks for the opportunity to fully enjoy the island!
The condo was very convenientally located. We could ride our bikes to the downtown area. The condo was very clean and well maintained. The pool was being renovated, so we could not use it, but it was too chilly. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook a meal. It was be nice to have bike storage outside, so we did not need to drag bikes upstairs to condo. I would definately rent this condo again.
Wonderful place to vacation on St Simons! I am from St Simons and I can assure you at this a fantastic location - walked to Winn Dixie for supplies and Starbucks, McDonalds, Chic Fil-A and Fox's Pizza! The beach is a quick drive or bike ride. The condo had everything we needed and was very nicely decorated- we really liked the condo complex- quiet and pretty. Thank you for a really fun relaxing weekend! We definitely want to come back because there's a lot more we wanted to do and we ran out of time!
Convenient, clean, quiet, comfortable and charming are just a few words to describe this rental. We could not have been more pleased. This has to be the best deal in town. The owner was accommodating and very helpful. The only drawback was that our vacation on St. Simon's Island was not long enough. Hope to visit again soon.
This condo was clean, well-equipped, and conveniently located. The owner was very helpful and accommodating. There were restaurants near by and the beach was within easy driving/biking distance. The Southern Soul BBQ restaurant has excellent BBQ takeout, or eat in for an authentic experience.
Close to the Village and the beach and all that the island offers, this beautiful condo was perfectly priced for a weekend getaway with friends. We felt safe in the gated community, and the convenient Starbucks and Winn Dixie were really the icing on top of a fantastic trip. Will definitely come again! :)
