My family had a wonderful vacation at The Pearl in Naples. The location is perfect - a quick walk to the pretty downtown area - restaurants, bars, clubs, great shopping. We were also able to walk to the beach, the pier area, a park, and a nearby marina. The house is a wonderful retreat. It has a beautiful courtyard with a pool, and very comfortable beach chairs to lay out and sunbathe on. We enjoyed cooking meals while there too and were able to put on big dinner parties as the house has 2 kitchens to work in. Shopping for food was easy - every option you could imagine closeby. I would highly recommend The Pearl for your next vacation!!!
As someone with an engineering background I find The Pink Pearl Beach House a very unique vacation place in terms of its layout design. It appeared that two separate properties were combined into one and sharing beautiful, tropical-like courtyard with pool in between them. One house was a private master suite with private smaller kitchen, bathroom and living room while the other one consisted of 3 full bedrooms, full size kitchen, dining room, living room with fireplace and sun-room. Such layout was a deciding factor for our family in choosing The Pearl. It allowed some members of our sizable family to stay up late and party all night in one side of the property where all the action took place while others could go to bed in private master suite early if they were to chose so. Not that anyone ever went to sleep early but having that option was very nice and convenient.
I have to say, I really loved my time at the Pearl Beach House and Cottage. The best thing about the house is that it can comfortably fit 10 guests (we were 9 people), so the whole family was able to get some quality time together. Plus, since it's two separate houses, we were able to get away from each other when we needed some space! And if you really need some space, you can take a quick walk into town where there's lots of shopping and restaurants, or down to the beach, which is lovely, pristine, and surprisingly quiet. One of my favorite activities was taking a family bike ride around Naples. Another day, we took a short drive to go on a boat tour of the Everglades! So fun. But really, I loved the house. Everything was super clean and in great working order. It has a nice beachy vibe but is still very classy. Oh, and having an awesome pool in the backyard doesn't hurt, either! We spent so much times having big dinners out on the patio, relaxing on the lounges, and taking dips in the pool. It's really a little slice of paradise.
I have lived in Florida for over 10 years but have never experienced a getaway like Olde Naples until my weekend at the Pearl. The beach house and cottage are located on the corner of a quite neighborhood of the historical district of Olde Naples. The interior is wonderfully decorated with modern amenities that compliment the authentic feel of the beach house and neighborhood.
Over our extended weekend, we did not have any difficulty finding things to do or see. The Pearl is perfectly situated within walking distance of all the wonderful shops and restaurants of down town Naples as well as the beautiful beaches of the Gulf of Mexico. I would not hesitate to recommend the Pearl to any couple or family looking for a relaxing and entertaining vacation.
Hailing from New York, Naples surprised me! The town has a juice bar! The Pearl cottage is a short walk to town and the beach. You definitely have the country and city life but it is so relaxing! The cottage has an amazing pool and feels very private due to the tall landscaping. We spent a day biking looking at all the interesting homes in Naples. We also went out to the Blue Martini, a great local club if you're looking to dance. Just 45 minutes away you can go to the Everglades and see the gators up close and personal. This house was perfectly placed to all activities and was an absolute delight to be in. I look forward to returning!
We stayed at the The Pearl for two weeks this year and we loved it. There are two quaint and nicely appointed antique cottages on a beautifully landscaped corner property with a lovely pool and cabana. We were able to walk to the beach, the marina, the main street, the park and many other nice parts of Olde Naples. There's a great weekend market in town and fabulous food shops nearby. Lots of good and reasonable restaurants nearby as well. Try the delicious lunch at the Seafood Shop a few streets away and check out the gourmet food at Wynn's Food Market. The whole area seems like a throwback to a quieter and gentler time and we really felt relaxed. The house is very well kept and well appointed. We especially liked BBQ'ing on the terrace and then talking a nice evening stroll down 5th Avenue. We'll definitely be back again and I highly recommend it.
