This condo sits just outside a beautiful pond with fountain, surrounded by trees. Pet-friendly neighborhood. Walk to Tanger outlets, many restaurants, grocery stores, beer/wine/liquor and Walmart. Diner just next door, seafood restaurant across the street and a raw bar just South on Route 1 (easy to walk to).
Two (2) mile drive to boardwalk/beach and bike path. less than 1/2 mile that goes directly to main avenue in Rehoboth Beach. Pool and bathhouse situated on property - 50 yards from condo!
This is the living room (screened in porch to the right). I bought this as a model home and it has been refurnished, repainted, new TV for living room, Free WI-FI and both bedrooms have cable TV for 2014 season.
Anne Frederick purchased this condo in 2001
It is quiet, pet-friendly, walking distance (or driving) to outlets, restaurants, grocery stores, beer/wine/liquor, miniature golf, water park, movie theatres, go-karts and MANY MORE!!
Property is close to everything you could want to do at the beach and more. Grocery shopping, liquor store, Walmart and Walgreen are steps from condo. Several delicious family and seafood restaurants/bars within walking distance. Complex/condo sits far enough off Route 1 so the children can walk or ride bikes around complex. Very safe and friendly.
First of all the host was accessible and pleasant, as was her condo. Nothing difficult about her or the condo. Well kept pool on premises, near outlets and the all important liquor stores. Close to beaches but not walking. Comfortable quarters, nice quiet grounds. We enjoyed ourselves and would go back sans hesitation!
This was more than we expected. It was clean, spacious, convenient and up to date. We did not want to leave. We were so close to the outlets, eateries, water park, etc. My kids loved the pool and the space. This is one of my favorite places to stay now and we will be back!! For those who didn't like this place.... Well your stupid :) thank you.
Condo was very clean, comfortable and smelled oh so good. Pond outside back porch with ducks and bullfrogs was so nice. Very quite and peaceful. Hardly saw any other tenants around. Owner was helpful and property as described. Photos were accurate. Have nothing at all bad to say about this very nice rental. We had a great time.
My family and I had an amazing time here. Excellent location, very clean and spacious. Owner was accommodating and everything was as described. Will likely stay again this year.
My friend, my wife, and I all rented this condo for three nights to attend a wedding in Lewes. It was conveniently located, but for the money, there are much nicer – and much, much cleaner – places out there.
The kitschy stuff wasn’t our thing; personal photos of (what we’re presuming is) the owner and/or her family on the nightstand, the mismatched dishware, the furniture and décor all gave the place a kind of cheap, “college apartment” type feel to it. It may or may not be a bad thing depending on your taste, but it wasn’t for us.
The furniture wasn’t very comfortable, but I can’t fault the owners for that. No one wants to put expensive furniture in a rental so I understand the mindset there. Still, I can’t recommend the place for anyone with back or joint issues - the mattresses in both bedrooms were pretty bad, and all three of us had sore backs after our first night there.
Our biggest issue was that the place wasn’t clean - the condo looked like it hadn’t been dusted in weeks; the plants, the picture frames, the ceiling fans, the air conditioning vent, and the microwave all had a slight coat of dust on them. The owners also left several personal items behind, which we found slightly odd – using a closet or dresser with someone else’s clothes in it wasn’t ideal, so we mostly just lived out of our suitcases for the weekend.
The most disturbing part, however, was the used feminine hygiene product left in the bathroom. My very tall friend found it on the top shelf of the linen closet; most people probably wouldn’t have seen it, but my friend did. Once the owners were made aware they were very apologetic and immediately compensated us the full security deposit plus one night’s stay. They seem like genuinely nice people that want people to be comfortable in their property, but whatever cleaning service they’re using is absolutely terrible.
If the owners hired a decorator and selected a (much) better cleaning service, this would be a great place to escape for the weekend, especially in the off-season when its not too crowded. The problem is that my first impression of the place was pretty bad and it will be very hard to undo. I might agree to a complimentary stay to revise my review once the owners address the comfort and cleanliness issues, but I can’t justify paying to stay there again.
We found the apartment to be as advertised. Quiet yet convenient, just off the Coastal Highway and in the middle of the outlet malls. We had to drive to beach areas, but were able to park free in Rehoboth in non-metered areas (permits not required after Labor Day). The apartment is pretty small, but for just my wife and I it was plenty big. It's on the first floor for convenience with a screened porch offering a nice view of pond and fountain.
