Architecturally stunning and private, Serenata del Mar features a terrific pool and tropical gardens. Large great room with kitchen, dining room, living room and unsurpassed views. Located south of Zihuatanejo on Playa Blanca, near the village of Barra de Potosi. It is minutes from the Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo International Airport. A well kept secret -almost 10 miles of uncrowded, white sand beach. It is quiet, safe, with warm water and total serenity. Sea turtles, dolphins, whales, birds and abundant sea life share this paradise with us. It is truly 'old Mexico'.

Nearest Airport : zihuatanejo/ixtapa at 6.5 Miles

Playa Blanca near Barra de Potosi is a serene stretch of sandy beach. If you want to do more than walk the beach, swim and relax, there is sport fishing nearby including offshore for billfish, in-shore for rooster fish and jacks, bird-watching with over 200 species identified in the area, kayaking and snorkeling.

Beachfront magic!

The first thing that struck us upon entering the gates of Serenata del Mar was the sheer size of the private palm grove gardens belonging to the property. All are immaculately groomed and provide many areas to relax in a shaded hammock, sunbathe, stroll, watch the sunset and even spot a whale. The house itself is a unique design that is set several feet above ground overlooking the infinity pool with the beach and ocean providing the backdrop allowing for spectacular views from all rooms and refreshing ocean breezes. The living/dining/kitchen great room is large and open under an immense thatched palapa roof with much comfortable seating and well equipped kitchen. Bedrooms are good size with plenty of storage space and pocket doors opening on to the balcony, pool and ocean view. This house is really special with it's privacy and access to the best beach we have found in Mexico. We will return!

As you go through the gates of Serenata Del Mar you leave all your woes behind you and breathe in
the scents of the tropical bliss you are about to encounter.
Truly enjoyable getaway...a place to reflect, rejuvenate one's spirit and get creatively charged!!!!

I loved the whole atmosphere of the place....and would happily go back for more!!!

I stayed in Serenata del Mar for a week last spring. Fabulous! Comfortable, relaxing, enjoyable. Great beach, friendly people, fun things to do in the area. I highly recommend it.
