Noe Valley is one of San Francisco's best centrally located neighborhoods. Completely remodeled garden apartment that is both quiet and bright, with one bedroom, private street entrance and private deck with yard access.
The kitchen has all new appliances including a Bosch dishwasher and 5 burner gas stove. There is a new full size washer and dryer in the unit. The living room has a large flat screen TV in the armoire with a DVD and WiFi access.
The apartment sleeps from 1 to 2 people, has all the necessities and is fully equipped. There is a garden view and access from a private deck.
Street parking is fairly easy with NO permit parking required.
The apartment uses solar power, has bamboo floors, tiled bath and laundry and energy saving appliances.
I stayed at this apartment while at a family wedding in San Francisco. It was quiet, lovely and very convenient.
My husband and I loved our Noe Valley neighborhood VRBO- convenient to wonderful restaurants, Whole Foods, shops and transportation, plus parking is easy to find. It's a great apt--comfortable, quiet, newly renovated, peaceful deck/garden and nice decor! Thanks Marcia and SF for a beautiful vacation.
Our stay over the Thanksgiving holiday was exactly as advertised. The unit is perfectly renovated. Immaculate. Will definitely stay again.
We could not have been more gratified than we were finding such a nice place to live for a week. It was like stepping into a "model" high-end property, and then getting to call it home for awhile. From the outset, it proved to be simply a great experience. Marcia was prompt, courteous, and accommodating in her communications; the apartment is nestled beneath a beautiful Victorian in a quiet and comfortable neighborhood, only a short, pleasant walk from the vibrant, 24th Street heart-of-Noe Valley business district; and, though one could easily be content with all that Noe has to offer, it is San Francisco, after all, and accessing other parts of the city via public transit is quite do-able. (We did have our car and nearby parking wasn't an issue upon our return for those time we did opt for vehicular transport)... Also, I'd recommend getting at least one deliciously sumptuous sandwich from the Sunshine Market corner grocery at 23rd and Douglass and bringing it back to enjoy while watching the 49'ers on the nice HDTV.
As advertised, this one bedroom is immaculately clean, well-appointed, and very comfortable. It affords state-of-the-art appliances, both in the kitchen and laundry room, a spacious walk-in shower, and an inviting pillow-top mattress. There is adequate closet space and impressive bamboo flooring. Even the doors are noteworthy - from the beautiful etched glass entry to the solid bathroom portal. Top and bottom pull window covers in the living area and on the French doors in the bedroom allow ample lighting. Clearly, there was little, if any, expense, spared in this remodel.
I would not hesitate to recommend this apartment to anyone looking for an appealing place to return to after a day in a great city
My wife, Sherri, and I were in San Francisco on business; therefore, we decided to make it a vacation as well to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. Marcia's unit was very well appointed and had all the accommodations of home. The neighborhood was very quiet, and as I like to walk a lot, I got to talk to a few of the neighbors who were so friendly. If you choose this unit, you will be very impressed with the green space of the back yard. You will appreciate sitting on the porch at sunset to enjoy a glass of wine. Furthermore, you are within walking distance to the famous 24th street that has all the shopping, groceries, dry cleaning, etc., to make your stay more comfortable. Marcia was so nice as to give us hints and ideas on which sites to visit. Once Marcia knew we are Jazz enthusiasts, she brought us brochures and articles of various Jazz venues to attend; she is most gracious. We will definitely return to this unit upon a return trip to San Francisco.
The apartment was very clean and well furnished. The location was extremely safe and was walkable to multiple forms of transportation. Be aware- it's definitely uphill coming from the Castro/Mission areas, so be ready to walk. We really loved our stay.
Marsha went above and beyond, and drove us to the Bart on the last day of our trip with all of our luggage. I do wish she had taken a few minutes more when we arrived to tell us a little more about the neighborhood/transportation options as we had very little idea of what we were near.
