Fantastic location across from Carmel Beach access, this cozy and comfortable house features 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and is ideal for a large family or group. The kitchen and dining areas feature brick floors and open on to a garden patio ideal for barbecuing and enjoying the sunshine. Upstairs there is a large living area complete with fireplace and views of the ocean. Upstairs bedrooms and a detached cottage in the back open to a rear garden area.

We spent four days in the house mid-April and absolutely loved it.
With family coming from France and Canada to visit us, this was the perfect house for a gathering, with couples with and without kids. Its location near the beach and within reach of Big Sur, Monterey and the rest of the peninsula was perfect.

The house matched exactly what we were expecting and the owners were very helpful all along the stay when we reached out to them.

We enjoyed our stay there and are looking forward to our next trip in Carmel, hopefully in the same house!

We couldn't have been happier with this house. We loved the layout and location of the house. It is just across the street from a gorgeous beach and with in walking distance to downtown. The sunsets were breathtaking. The large family room upstairs and all of the well appointed bedrooms and baths were perfect for our family. The owner was wonderful to work with. We are hoping to return next year at the same time. The weather was perfect, sunny and cool. We send a heartfelt thanks to the family for sharing their house with our family.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
