Located 0.5 miles south of the Garden City Pier. This home is simply adorable! Brightly decorated and a great place for a small group or family. Big Balloon has all of the luxuries of home, as well as a great location. Just across the street from the beach and within walking distance of the Garden City Pier, your greatest vacation ever starts with Big Balloon! This home has a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, telephone, Wi-Fi, and central heating and air. The first bedroom features its own private bath and a queen and twin bed. Bedroom two features another queen and twin bed with access to a shared bathroom between bedroom two and three. Bedroom 3 features two day beds (one trundle). In the front of the house there is a carpeted screened in porch that has a beautiful view of the ocean! This home does not allow pets. Complete Linen and Bath Package Available for $150. Sheets and Pillowcases Only Package Available for $72

The staff at Garden City Realty was helpful and friendly. The location of Big Balloon is fantastic. Would recommend to others while advising that house needs a thorough cleaning...needs vacuumed under beds & cabinets; mattress pads did not look clean if they were; and when we arrived, stove and microwave did not look wiped/cleaned. Maintenance promptly arrived to fix a broken chain on the toilet. Overall, a nice experience...cleanliness of house just needs some lovin' care.

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
I was very happy with the location.
The vacation rental was very dirty.
The property manager was very helpful.
Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental.

Loved the location but was amazed that the owners can't put a few bucks into deep cleaning it to get more rental $'s. I had to resweep and mop when I got there. The baseboards and fans were NASTY! Since we had 2 crawling babies I had to clean that along with the nasty intake vent. (They did come the next day to change filter. Door was off in closet (They fixed) They advertised 2 pack and plays. There was one broken one so had to call and get 2 rentals. The washer ONLY washes all our bathing suits and nice clothes shrunk. The kitchen...oh my word. Just need to throw away ALOT of old mismatched stuff and get one new set of pots/pans/dishes.Front porch screen door needs new screen. The 3rd rocking chair FELL APART when we sat in it! The maintenance man called it a death trap! (He hauled away) Like I said...just need some TLC and it would be fine! I may stay there again if these things were fixed but have to admit..not having a half bath that can be accessible w/o going thru a bedroom was a drag. (When you have napping babies)

The Microwave broke while we were there and it was replaced the same day, which was great. The furniture on the porch was not in the best condition, luckily we spent most of our time on the beach. Other then these few minor things the stay was great.

great week at the beach. this is the 2nd time we have rented The Big Balloon. Its a great house and the location is perfect BUT it really does need a very thorough DEEP cleaning.
