FABULOUS CENTRAL APART, LAST AVAILABILITIES, SLEEP 7, TERRACE, TV SAT, WIFI

We were somewhat apprehensive about renting our first vacation apartment on our first trip to Rome, but we worried for naught. We arrived in Rome early in the morning and were able to leave our luggage to sightsee while the apartment was being cleaned. The owners of this property truly cared that our stay would be comfortable, and the entire process was so easy and smooth.

All we could say when we entered the apartment was "Wow!". It has an old world charm, beautiful floor tiles and all the modern amenities that you need. The apartment was clean, sunny and airy...we were very comfortable here, and believe staying at ElyRose enhanced our visit to Rome. There was something nice about going "home" after a long day of sightseeing!

Two bedrooms are spacious and share a narrow balcony from where you can watch the neighborhood come alive in the mornings. The third bedroom in the back is cosier and quieter, facing an interior courtyard. There is no living room per se, however the kitchen/dining area and terrace were more than sufficient to congregate in the mornings for breakfast and relax/converse in the afternoons/evenings. Security was not a concern, there are 2 locked doors at the building entry,heavy duty lock on the apartment door and the apartment windows feature metal shutters. We felt very safe and secure. The elevator works, but is small - max capacity is 3 people. We didn't mind going up in shifts or walking up, and were certainly grateful for the elevator when arriving/departing with our luggage.

The location is wonderfuly convenient, less than 5 minutes to the grocery store, Restaurant Monti and nearest metro station; 10-15 minute walk to Termini station and the Colosseo; with numerous delicious bakeries, eateries and restaurants nearby.

We hope to return to Rome someday, and if we're so fortunate, we'd stay at ElyRose again. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Rome...you won't regret staying here!

These owners are setting a very high standard of hospitality here at ElyRose. Each of them have a unique ability to establish an almost instant close relationship with visitors to this quality, very comfortable, and ideally located apartment.

This "personal touch" adds a rare and pleasant feature to any vacation and especially for a trip to a foreign country. We left Rome with a feeling that we have established friendships that will be long lasting. Thank you especially for taking us to the Christmas Eve mass. We have made many trips both in and outside the USA, but have never felt this kind of concern for our well-being while staying at other vacation accommodations. The Italian government should pay you a stipend for establishing this high level of goodwill with foreign visitors.

The ElyRose provided us a perfect homebase while we visited many of the truly unique sites and experiences located in Rome. Thanks to each of you for the opportunity to visit Rome and leave with the feeling that we have received an exceptional Roman experience.
