The photos did a great job of telling the story for this lovely condo property. It was clean, beautiful, comfortable and very relaxing to watch the sunset everyday on Lake Hamilton. Everything was in perfect working order. On one occasion we lost the wi-fi connection, called the owners, and learned that it was a widespread event, but by the time we returned in the evening we were reconnected. We would definitely recommend this to friends and relatives; in fact, already have. We found Hot Springs to be a great place to visit. We stay away from restaurant chains and to our delight found many independent places to patronize. We discovered Jason's just south on Avery Rd & Hwy 7 and ate there several times; a downhome bar/restaurant with excellent burgers and cole slaw; ample bar and after sampling a delicious dip we bought some for home. We even found a fellow Packer fan there! Bot great ribs from the trailer south on Hwy 7 - Bubba's maybe? Also some seafood from the place next to it, and fresh garden stuff from another stand south. We also went to Fisherman's Wharf, Boat Landing, Don Juan's, Hacienda Inn, Bleu Monkey, Newt's (excellent salads plus) and Razorback Pizza to name a few. We toured the Garvan Woodlands Garden and loved it; tulips in nearly full bloom; grounds impeccable. Took in the baths at Arlington Hotel (beware the male massage therapist - didn't seem to know what he was doing - didn't have the client use the headrest on the bed - result-painful neck spasms. We'd skip the massage part; 20 minutes not worth it.)
Shopped lots of places, did science museum and loved the art walk. Drove to Little Rock for the Clinton presidential museum - excellent - so much to take in that we missed the Central High School museum due to late hour. Went to the horse races one day; one of us won $4 and the other $26. Felt just like we imagine the Kentucky Derby to be; very fun! Played a bit of tennis; court at Landings needs attention, but we played with friends in Hot Springs Village several times. Also, our YMCA membership was able to be used, so did that a few times. Learned that we would have been welcome to play pickleball on a regular basis - but too late to take advantage of it. Possibly the best thing about the area was the pervasive friendliness and courtesy of every person we encountered,
We probably won't return because we always go to new places but this one will remain one of the absolute best experiences.
