Granite Springs Lodge, South Dakota’s own secret family getaway, boasts of both modern conveniences and comfortable facilities. Breathtaking views of a private 10-acre spring fed lake makes those relaxing vacation sunrises unforgettable. The lake has amazing fishing and is surrounded by mature trees and walking paths that will satisfy any vacationers need for a morning stroll or a hardcore workout.

The main lodge is 8,000 sq/ft., which includes nine bedrooms, ten bathrooms (master bath has a private Jacuzzi bath), two kitchens, a separate commercial kitchen, and a main dining room/conference center with seating for up to 100 people. A patio with fire pit overlooks the lake, 2 family sized living rooms, and 3 big flat screen TV's.

Unique, Awesome, Outdoorsy, Views Extraordinary

I just returned from a trip to Alexandria, South Dakota. Our son in law is being transferred to Mitchell, SD. The family came to look at new homes with our daughter and son-in-law. The lodge had approx. 8,000 SF, 9 bedrooms that sleeps 40+ people. A full kitchen, dining room, living room, 2 bathrooms, one equipped with a full shower and whirlpool tub, the other full sized bathroom with a shower/tub combo. We cooked every meal in the lodge. There are several decks overlooking the back of the lodge, walking trails, a lake, fire pits, a creek with foot bridge. Many views, bald eagles, geese, ducks, deer, turkeys, and many more animals to enjoy while sipping your morning coffee on the many decks available to you.

Need to hold a family reunion, wedding reception, baby shower, bridal shower, or any other gathering? There's also a large commercial kitchen located next to a huge seating area perfect for hosting an event.

The owner, Brian is quite personable, friendly and very accommodating. I'd recommend the lodge to anybody. It's an awesome place to visit, and only 15 minutes outside of Mitchell, SD.

Winter Vacation

Granite Springs Lodge is a hidden treasure and we had a blast getting away from everything. The accommodations and privacy were perfect! The multiple large dining and living room areas made it possible for our entire family to have a relaxing and memorable weekend. We were there during the winter and the view was still incredible of the lake area. The owners were also very accommodating and easy to work with. Great place owned and operated by great people.
