Welcome! This clean, modestly priced, newly renovated furnished mother-in-law suite overlooks the beautiful Chester Creek greenbelt in midtown Anchorage.

All private space with private access on the lower terrace and ground floor of our single family home. Sleeps 1-3. Amenities include cable TV, Blu-Ray player, wireless internet, off-street driveway parking spot, outdoor gas grill, firewood and outdoor fire-pit, expansive decks, deck chairs, children's play-set, guidebooks and maps for reference.

Its ideal wooded location affords opportunities for relaxing, biking, hiking, moose sightings, etc. right outside the door! Centrally located just minutes from downtown, UAA and area hospitals. 2 night minimum. No smoking. No pets.

Welcome! We hope our pricing and exceptional location draws you to our comfortable, clean studio+suite in Midtown Anchorage. We trust you will love your travels here. We welcome an opportunity to host you and share our insights about places to see and things to do.

A bit about us:

Tony: Biologist by training; Lifetime painter, loves hiking new trails and revisiting old ones. Always happy to recommend great camping opportunities, scenic trails and best methods for deterring bear encounters. Avid reader, bird watcher, Sci-Fi geek.

Katie: High school teacher. First traveled to Alaska in 1988, worked several seasons for the Chugach National Forest on trails and in interpretation, is a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer, and an avid hiker, paddler, cycler. We have a darling school-age daughter and a happy, well-behaved lab.
