4 Bedrooms, 3 Bathrooms, (Sleeps 8-12)

This cabin has four bedrooms - three with queen beds and one with twins. It also has two queen size futons in the basement lounge area. It has three bathrooms, all appliances including dishwasher, washer and dryer, microwave, and, of course, stove and refrigerator. It is equipped with a propane barbecue and fire pit and has TV and DVD upstairs and down.
About Owner/Property Manager

Warren and Betty Lou Elofson are professional people.

Warren is a history professor at the University of Calgary and Betty Lou is Vice Principal of Bishop McNally High School.

Owner/Property Manager purchased this cabin in 1995
Why Owner/Property Manager chose Windermere

Warren and Betty Lou have spent many of their summer and winter vacations in Windermere. They built the Archives in the mid nineties for vacation rental because they felt sure that people would love the lake and mountains as they do.

What makes this cabin unique

This cabin offers access to one of the nicest beaches on Lake Windermere as well to the many top golf courses, excellent skiing at Panorama and Fairmont Hot Springs and unlimited mountain trails.

Windermere is a wonderful place for summer and winter sports and activities. The cabin, which we call 'the Archives' is a short block from a private beach for families staying in the small resort area of Tretheway. It has sand, a great swimming area and a playground for kids. The mountains around the lake are beautiful and provide numerous hiking trails. Views are breathtaking. Also there are six top ranked golf courses a short drive from the Windermere. The area teams with all sorts of wild life including deer, elk and occasionally, a bear.
