This island inspired home is contemporary styled featuring hand beeswax finished plastered walls, large kitchen with Wolf Range, double ovens, large Sub Zero refrigerator, large Sub Zero freezer, custom cabinetry and island stone cladded feature walls.
Disappearing massive pocket door systems allow for the living, dining, and lounge areas to be open to the beautiful Hawaiian outside climate into the home and creates endless views of the Pacific Ocean and golf course.
In the main home, there are three bedrooms.
The Master Bedroom is large and features a private lanai. The adjoining master bathroom has a private garden with a refreshing outdoor shower.
The additional two guest rooms are accessed through a hallway adjacent to the private interior courtyard with a contemporary water feature and koi pond. Both guest bedrooms feature king beds. Each room shares access to the media room.
The Ohana inspired area of the home is only accessed by the private interior courtyard and has an additional two bedrooms. The guest (Ohana) portion of the home has a bedroom with a King bed and private garden area and outdoor shower. Also, contained in the guest area of the home is a bedroom equipped with two twins beds connected via privacy doors. There is no access to the main home from the guest area allowing total privacy for each guest area.
A large infinity edge pool is flush with the pool deck and within feet from the living room. All four sides of the pool are infinity. A portion of the pool is designed as a shallow elevated lounge area. In addition, an elevated whirlpool tub offers spectacular views and a relaxing place to unwind.
Additional fire features such as gas torches and special fire features are part of the beautiful landscaping surrounding this home.

We own and love this home. The Hawaiian Islands have been a special place for us to visit for the last 20 years. We love the Kohala Coast because it offers breathtaking complex views of black lava, striking green landscaping and endless views of blue water. The combination is so unique that we chose to own a home in the place that so many people call paradise.

We chose this property and location because we like the ability to get to the Four Seasons amenities within a 10 minutes walk or golf cart ride but we also appreciate the privacy of being at the top of the resort surrounded by incredible estate homes.
Our home has one 6 passenger golf cart and one four passenger golf cart.
This property is magnificent! It was perfect for our group of 10. Everyone had their own space if they wanted it, but the common spaces were gorgeous and well-designed. The pool was so nice that we didn't even want to take the golf carts to the resort most of the time. The pictures don't do it justice. It really is an exquisitely designed and decorated house. The property owner was extremely helpful and gave us some great recommendations for activities/private chef. Highly recommend!
Ok, so I have stayed at a number of houses rented through VRBO and have never submitted a review. This is a first as this was literally the best house I have ever stayed in. Tons of room, very upscale without being at all stuffy, the coolest pool, incredible sunset view, hot tub, every amenity you could imagine, a quick golf cart ride to the facilities (nice exercise rooms) & restaurants (which are all great) at The Four Seasons, a short drive from the Kona airport, a very helpful owner, etc. The perfect place to stay on The Big Island. Just book it and you'll be happy.
Wow! This place is off the chart great! Beautiful home, beautifully appointed, beautiful setting. We never wanted to leave. The area is great for walking, running, access to the Four Seasons restaurants and facilities, golf, everything. Just a 10 minute drive from the airport once you land. It is spectacular!
What an amazing trip! This was our fifth time staying on the Hualalia resort property and was by far the nicest home we've stayed in. The house is beautiful, has spectacular views and it's location is private. This was ideal given that we visit the resort during the busiest week of the year. The house was a respite from the hustle and bustle of the Four Seasons resort area - and perfect for our group of 8 travelers. The owner and management staff were wonderful to work with and made the entire planning process a breeze.
My only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. This home was truly a Hawaiian paradise....
What a wonderful location to spend a Hawaiian vacation. The home is lovely and the view spectacular. The ocean, the golf course and landscaping form a beautiful setting for the house. The house is well appointed and had all the conveniences we needed, it was very clean and well maintained. The great room with its huge kitchen and living room opens up nicely to the pool, deck, spa. and view. This was the focal point of the home during our stay. The five bedrooms and baths provide plenty of space for our family and guests. The open design of the home let us enjoy the tropical weather and gave an indoor/outdoor lifestyle. We especially enjoyed the outdoor showers. Travel around the resort was handy in the golf carts provided. Great house, great resort.
This is an amazing property.
We vacationed here for one week with in laws and our two children. We had been to the Four Seasons Hualalai on several occasions in the past, and it is our favorite resort. With such a big group we decided to rent a house.
The house is spectacular. It has great views, tasteful decor and is impeccably maintained. Sleeping areas are separate and afford privacy, whereas the common areas are expansive and have floor to ceiling views. The pool area is nicely designed and has beautiful sunset views. The kitchen is completely stocked with appliances and cooking utensils for those who like to cook.
As others have mentioned, the owner was very gracious in contacting us and making sure that everything was going well with the house. He really went above and beyond in doing so. There is also a local property management company that was very responsive as well.
We were contacted by the Hualalai Concierge a month prior to our arrival and were able to make reservations for dining, golf, and other activities. They were very helpful. The Four Seasons resort is a 5 minute golf cart ride away, and we had access to all of their amenities (for an additional fee), including fitness center, kids club and other activities. There are three golf carts at the house.
I can't imagine a nicer property on the island. We had a great time and hope to return soon.
