ABOUT THE LODGE (3,400 SQ. FEET AND FULLY FENCED)
Come stay and play at this unique beautiful custom-built mountain home! Situated on 3+ acres with 270 degrees views of the beautiful Pikes Peak mountain range and big rock outcrops, you are close to many attractions the area has to offer, yet far enough away from the “rat race” to really enjoy what a mountain vacation is all about. Enjoy the quaking Aspen, majestic Colorado blue spruce and the towering Ponderosa Pines of the surrounding area.
Built in 2004, this gorgeous home’s interior features include all the modern conveniences while maintaining the mountain rustic charm you would expect in Colorado. The high quality furnishings and decorative features have been specially selected throughout this lodge theme home.
Features include decorative metal and tongue and groove ceilings, stacked stone, natural slate and hardwood floors (with in-floor radiant heat) throughout. A fully equipped 500 sq. ft. gourmet kitchen is stunning with beautiful distressed alder cabinetry, Italian ceramic tile counter tops, double sinks and premium appliances all surrounding a huge multi-level center island with Boos butcher block. There is more than ample seating for the whole family to enjoy meals in the dining area that feature 20 feet of floor to ceiling windows with lots of light, beautiful scenery and one of the most gorgeous views of Pikes Peak in the area. The main living area boasts a floor to ceiling stacked rock fireplace and wood burning stove.
ACCOMMODATIONS
A king size, queen size and two twin beds provide sleeping accommodations for six people. All three bedrooms have private baths and an elegant powder room is available for your guests. Two baths include Jacuzzi jetted tubs, walk in showers and double sinks.
Two oversized leather couches can serve as day beds to accommodate two additional people for a TOTAL of EIGHT GUESTS.
ENTERTAINMENT AND AMENITIES
A large upstairs loft includes an entertainment center equipped with games, wireless Internet, flat screen TV, DVD/CD to watch movies on Netflix or listen to your favorite music on Pandora. The loft also includes a high-top natural slate game table and chairs.
There are many amenities throughout this beautiful home that will enable you to enjoy being with your friends and family. If just relaxing is your goal, besides what the home has to offer inside, there are 3 outside areas to enjoy – a great covered deck, a paver patio with an intimate fire pit and another larger fire pit to enjoy under the star studded skies.

ACTIVITIES IN THE SURROUNDING AREAS
Fishing, hunting, hiking, mountain biking, four-wheeling, boating, rafting, camping, rock climbing, and horseback riding are just some of the numerous activities to enjoy.
Areas of interest include Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument and the Florissant Heritage Museum to learn about the petrified redwoods and history of the area. Tour the Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center in Divide, visit Cripple Creek (historic gold mining and gambling town) with its many casinos and restaurants, and the Molly Kathleen mine on Hwy 67.
Go for a day hike at Mueller State Park with its 5,000 acres or just sit and view the many acres from the deck of this home. If you love to rock climb, boat or fly fish you can check out Eleven Mile Canyon. Fly-fishing can also be enjoyed at Spinney Reservoir, Tarryall, and on the South Platte River. If you enjoy river rafting, check out the Arkansas River, as there are several options in the Buena Vista and Salida areas. You can also take in the scenic overlook at Wilkerson Pass of the 14,000+ ft. Collegiate Mountain Range on your way to skiing, shopping, and restaurants at Breckenridge. Enjoy thousands of acres of national forest and parkland for hiking or hunting. Or you can take in Canon City to see the incredible Royal Gorge Bridge and Railroad.
Venture in for a day’s excursion to Manitou Springs to see Cave of the Winds or Colorado Springs to visit Garden of the Gods, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, or enjoy a leisurely lunch at the famous Broadmoor Hotel. Shop and dine in Old Colorado City or Manitou Springs. Don’t forget to venture up to Pike’s Peak. At 14,110 feet, it has the most incredible views for miles and miles. Or try your hand at a game of Golf at Shining Mountain in Woodland Park.
