ULTIMATE DESERT OASIS GETTAWAY

We had a family reunion with folks coming from Minnesota, Washington, and California. This home was perfect! Plenty of room for 7 adults (one adult child slept on the "playpen" plush couch quite comfortably.). The open floor plan had such a nice feel for a family gathering. We spent a lot of time in the back soaking up the sun around the pool and drinking in the mountain views day and night. The kitchen was well appointed and we did nearly all our meals there. Only drawback was that, though the home accommodates at least 6 adults, the table only seats 4, so we had to spread out during meals. A table with leaves to seat 8 would be an awesome addition.

We all remarked on the beds and pillows. Though we have a memory foam bed at home, we slept better there! All 6 of us are now buying the memory foam pillows to have at home. The blankets and throws were all ridiculously soft, too. The wireless Internet was easy and good. Though we didn't use them there were also 3 nice TV's and a wireless printer.

Lynda was very responsive and helpful with any questions and the admin part of the trip went very smoothly. The VEBO listing is accurate but doesn't quite reflect how nice the property is. It's a nice, quiet neighborhood and plenty close to any shopping we needed. Trader Joel's was just a few minutes away and we could quickly get to at least two locations of My Sister's Closet, our Arizona addiction. There is also a huge Fry's store that is like a Target with groceries and a Safeway. We had an incredible (spicy) meal at the Mexican restaurant by Safeway, Los Dos Molinos.

Overall, we were so pleased. Finding this place was a stoke of good fortune, especially considering all the properties flooded onto the Phoenix VRBO by property management firms that don't deal in good faith. We almost got trapped by one of them. In the future, if there's an 800 number on a VRBO, I won't be calling it.
