About Deborah & Raul Cartagena

My husband and I currently work and live in Edmonton, Alberta. My husband grew up in Guatemala, Central America and moved to Canada in 1988. I grew up in Western Canada (AB & BC). We have 5 children and a grandson, and look forward to sharing our home with others so they can share in the joy and relaxation that Eaglet Villa brings to us.

When we first visited Kissimmee with our children and grandson, we really liked the town. Even though we were in a subdivision, we were only minutes from Disneyworld, Orlando parks and attractions and shopping. Eaglet Villa is located in the quiet family-oriented community of Eagle Pointe, which really attracted us as this will be our home away from home when we retire in a few years.

What makes this house unique

I enjoy being able to wake up with a cup of coffee on the private patio beside the pool, hearing only birdsong...it is wonderful.

Our home is located just 12 minutes from Disneyworld theme parks, 20 minutes from, Seaworld, Universal Studios, Wild & Wet Waterpark, 25 minutes from Orlando International Airport, and just over an hour from Cape Kennedy to the east and Busch Gardens (Tampa Bay) to the west. A 24/7 Walmart Supercentre and Outlet stores are only minutes away on I192 for the most avid shoppers.

House was ideally located. Pool & lanai were great. House needed repairs and many were highlighted during our stay. Management did a good job responding to our concerns and tried to fix things as quickly as possible. However, not everything could be fixed. Property was not clean, Pictures online showed the house correctly. Nearby activities, shopping and restaurants were good. Not sure we would rent here again.

Hi,

We all had a fantastic time in Florida and are just starting to recover from the jet lag.

The villa and location were perfect. We had no problems finding it with your precise directions and using the secure box and alarm were again no problem. The pool was a huge success with the kids and most of the time spent at the villa was spent in the pool by them.

We cannot think of anything that we missed or you did not have to improve our stay. You have obviously worked very hard to get it just right. The only thing we had to buy was a decent road map to help us find our way about for the first few days. We soon got the hang of it and found all the right places to visit and eat out at.

We had two fantastic meals at the ‘Bahama Breeze’ restaurant in International Drive and if you haven’t tried this restaurant then it’s definitely one to visit on your next trp. We are very grateful for the use of your fantastic villa and would not hesitate to use it again or recommend it to our friends.

We had a great time in Orlando! Your villa has everything we expected. Our kids loved the pool and swam everyday.

I hope you're doing well. I just wanted to send an email to thank you for letting us rent your home during our family vacation.

Your villa is beautiful and was perfect for our trip, travelling with small children (4 yrs and 4 months) having the space and the pool was perfect. It was also nice to open the door and see that the space was exactly like the pictures on line, you never know what you're going to get when you book on line but in this case everything was as stated.

We hope you're still renting your villa when we return because we would not hesitate to rent from you again.
