WELCOME TO THE DISTINCTIVE COTTAGE COLLECTION ON WEST ISLAND AND SCONTICUT NECK PRESENTED BY HOWE ALLEN REALTY.

Windswept at Saltmarsh is a charming and surprisingly spacious 4 bedroom water-front cottage at the southern tip of Sconticut Neck. This home looks westward to

Buzzard's Bay, New Bedford Harbor and Cuttyhunk Island. Looking eastward, there are lovely views of Webster Pond and beyond. The home is located on a dead-end street and is very private yet not isolated. Due to its position, it enjoys wonderful ocean breezes, but also features central AC for humid nights or very warm days. The first level of this home features an open concept living and dining area with stylish furnishings and accessories. There is a large kitchen and adjacent bathroom with washer and dryer. A front porch offers seating and storage space where as the rear sunroom is perfect for sunset viewing. The second level offers 4 bedrooms all with commanding views. A mixture of antique pieces blend nicely with crisp linens and unique artwork. In addition to the features already mentioned, this home has cable TV with an HDTV LED TV, DVD player, small stereo system and of course highspeed wireless Internet.

Some information about the area. Fairhaven was incorporated just over 200 years ago, celebrating its bicentennial in 2012. The town is one of the best-kept secrets of the Southcoast. Architecturally significant public buildings, charming shops and restaurants and a lifestyle centered around the sea are evident in this small yet well-appointed New England seaport town. Windswept at Saltmarsh is located toward the southernmost tip of a peninsula named Sconticut Neck. A short drive or walk provides the visitor with some of the most appealing beaches in Southern New England including West Island beaches.

Rental Rates for this vacation cottage rental in Fairhaven, Massachusetts

Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency () unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.

Notes

  • $1000/wk - $1800/wk
  • US Dollars
  • All weeks in May, June and Sept. $1500. All weeks July and August $1800
  • All rentals are Saturday to Saturday.
  • Damage waiver required in lieu of security deposit. Pets with Prior Approval.
  • $100 cleaning fee per rental period.
  • 10% discount for multiple week rentals when booked together.
  • 20% deposit to reserve. 20% due 30 days prior to arrival. Balance due on arrival.
