Beautiful, Historic, Full Ocean View in Village

La Reinita translates as 'the Queen'. And a Queen it is. Built on a hill overlooking the pacific it was one of the first homes built in La Jolla by the first village's doctor.

But please don't get the idea that it is old, on the contrary, it is very new inside with an up to date kitchen and modern comfy furniture.It is where historic and zen come together.

You enter the cottage property through a rod iron gate past a small office building. A front yard with adorondeck chairs and a hot tub great you in the private yard.

As you enter you are greeted by hardwood floors, panoramic ocean views and a wonderful living room. There is a sofa bed from Crate and Barrel and a comfy chair that are directed towards a large mounted TV and a fireplace heater. 2 chairs are set up for ocean viewing and reading.

To the right as you enter is the kitchen and dining area for 4. Windows look out on the lawn with beautiful gardens. The motif is black and white with all up to date appliances and a fully equipped kitchen.

On the far side of the living room to the right is a masters bedroom. Very cozy with a queen bed and full bath room.

To the left of the living room is an outside deck with many chairs, umbrella, ocean view and a hot tub.

By the door leading to the deck is a spiral staircase leading to a second master bedroom with a queen bed and 3/4 bathroom. A washer and dryer is just around the corner.

The colors are white beige and blue making it very cottage like but with a strong Zen feel of peace and comfort and tranquility.

Garage parking is arranged and the home can sleep 6

The cottage is nestled behind an office with a private yard just on the outskirts of the village. It is walking distance to food, stores, museums antiquing and art galleries.
