Beautiful waterfront home located in the exclusive Island Park Community on Ocean Isle Beach. Completely updated in 2012 with new carpets, hardwood floors, countertops, kitchen, and accessories - from the curtains to the comforters. This home has spacious decks and porches in front and back, open floor plan, comfortable living room, fully equipped kitchen, spacious bedrooms, wifi internet access. Outside enjoy the hammock, swing, and plentiful outdoor seating while you enjoy the ocean breezes.

A short walk away, you will find easy access to some of the finest beaches on the East Coast - low crowds, white sand, and some of the most family friendly beaches in the area.

Just step off the rear deck and you are at the well stocked freshwater lagoon, teaming with sun fish and bass. Beautifully landscaped with stately palm tress to get you in the Carolina beach mood.

Your home-away-from-home has everything you need to relax and build special memories with your family. Three of the 4 bedrooms come with queen size beds. One of these is also equipped with a crib. The fourth is set up with 4 twin beds, allowing the house to accomodate 10 comfortably.

Sit on the deck in your rocking chair and watch the sunrise or take a bike ride the 2 miles up the beach to the OIB Fishing Pier. The whole neighborhood is bike friendly for the entire family. Little traffic in this gated community make it an ideal location for young and young at heart riders alike.

You can even venture out to enjoy the islands mini golf, Coastal Museum, many restaraunts and ice cream parlors - including our favorite - Sunset Slush at the Pier.

In late July through the end of August, take the family out at sunset and witness one of the sea turtle nest boils that happen during late summer full moons. There are typically 5-10 protected sea turtle nests within a short walk from the house. It is a breathtaking and unforgettable experience.

About Jeff

We have been coming to OIB ever since the kids were little. We first bought a house in Island Park and loved it so much, we got this one, right next door for family and friends. We spend a lot of time at the beach and enjoy making this house as inviting as our own.

Jeff purchased this house in 2009
Why Jeff chose Island Park

Over the past year, we have replaced all of the flooring, repainted every wall, redone the cabinets, countertops, artwork and really brought the house to life. It is a bright and warm inviting house that guests love returning to year after year.

This family friendly home includes 4 twin beds, crib, booster seats, and many beach toys for the use of our guests.

What makes this house unique

Island Park is unique for families. There is no other setting on the coast that allows the kind of family friendly and open atmosphere that you can find in Island Park on Ocean Isle Beach. As a gated community, traffic is limited. Kids can surf, bike, fish, swim in the 2 community pools, and kayak from the two docks, all within 200 yards of the front door.

A Week to Remember!

This was our second stay in this lovely home, and we couldn't recommend it more highly. The owners have taken great care to create an attractively warm, inviting, spacious, comfortable and convenient spot for guests to enjoy Ocean Isle Beach. The neighborhood is perfect for walking, running, bike riding, etc. with both pool and beach just a short walk from the house. We appreciated having a large grocery store nearby, and the kids enjoyed the arcade and ice cream shops in the evening. Hands down, however, is the ocean breeze on the front porch in the morning, on the back deck in the evening, or the hammock anytime! Perfect for families of all ages!

We were extremely happy with the rental! It was very clean and spacious. The kitchen was large and open, and the decor was very tasteful throughout. There were a lot of outdoor seating options, as well. The walk to the beach was really easy, which is nice when you have little ones! We were provided with many beach toys to use, too! It is a wonderful house in a great community. We couldn't have been happier!
