Large lake view home on Vallecito Lake - a RARE FIND! Will accommodate up to 12 adults, this is a summer lake dream come true! Walk the path to fish, swim and relax. Full kitchen, large dining room and a wonderful deck with a great lake view. Light, bright with rock fireplace, aspen cathedral ceilings, 3 levels for plenty of privacy, 3 baths, one on each level. There are 4 bedrooms with one king and 3 queens and a sleeping loft with 2 additional queens. Lower level has a master bedroom with king bed and ¾ bath. You may book 2 or all 3 levels of this home, depending on your preference. This is one of 3 cabins on this lot, so it's perfect for family reunions up to 18 people. The other 2 cabins are available separately, look for separate listings on VRBO or contact us directly. All 3 cabins have satellite TV and Wi-Fi.

About Ron Bevil

My wife and I both came to Durango area in December, 1999. I grew up and spent most of my life in Chicago, but always had dreams of retiring in Colorado. Katya moved to Durango from Saint Petersburg, Russia. It took us just about 7 years to finally meet, fall in love, and settle in together at this beautiful mountain lake in a little log cabin located next to the rental properties I manage. We love our simple life here on the lake with our beloved dog Talker and our fluffy kitty Amber - enjoying the serenity of the lake from our deck or a pontoon boat, hiking with Talker on a beautiful trail or taking a ride in a tandem kayak. Our favorite place to go for food or drink is Pura Vida Café which is about a half a mile from the cabins.

Vallecito Lake is located just 30 minutes from beautiful Durango, CO with it's narrow gauge railway, fine dining, shopping, rafting, mountain biking and all the outdoor activities you could want! An hour ride will take you to Durango Mountain Resort where kids and adults alike can enjoy Alpine Slide and other fun attractions, an hour and a half will allow you to visit the world-renowned Mesa Verde National Park. This location makes it a perfect vacation destination for those seeking a quaint mountain lake retreat as well as the adventure seeking outdoor enthusiasts and explorers.
