Come and experience our Southern Hospitality in this circa 200 year old building located in the very heart of historical Charleston. The Suite has been lovingly restored in Jan 2013. We also have another Suite in this building www.vrbo.com/413517. (see reviews) The charm of yesteryear remains and we have added all the luxury amenities of modern living. The location is the very best downtown, right on Market Street and not - as most vacation rentals - in adjoining residential neighborhoods. We are immediately across from the Historic Charleston City Market dating back to 1804. Walk out of our Suite... immediately outside the door to Charleston's premier restaurants, and easy stroll to The Battery and only two blocks to the Waterfront Park on Charleston Harbor. Our location is second to none...you can park your car and never get back in it if shopping on King Street, dining in first class restaurants, and discovering Revolutionary and Civil War history is your goal. You are sure to find pleasure in visiting one of America's oldest museums, touring the Charleston Harbor by boat or visiting the famous Ft. Sumter, strolling through the historical neighborhoods and sneaking views of private Charleston courtyard gardens. King Street, known for designer shopping and antiquing and is only one block away. We look forward to your visit!

While visiting the area in 1998 we fell in love with the charm of the historical city and surroundings, the Southern hospitality and relaxed lifestyle and decided to move here and make it home! We love it more each year. We opened One of a Kind the year we moved to Charleston. One of a Kind is a gallery that features art and fine crafts from nationally acclaimed artist as well as art by regional and local artisans. We have decorated the Suite with lovely original art by artisans from this region. The gallery is located on the same street as the Suite, only a few door down. Let's keep it all on the same block! ;)

The location is second to none! This is the VERY BEST location in downtown!

The building has a Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream Shop on the ground floor and opens up to a charming courtyard in the back. There is a complimentary trolley that stops immediately in front of our building and takes you anywhere you could want to go downtown. Bike taxis and horse drawn carriages are just outside our building and a popular way of getting around to discover Charleston's historical treasures and landmarks dating back to the 1600s through 1800s.

Our experience was fabulous. The suite was equipped with every luxury imaginable , including a lighted makeup mirror. The owners supplied us with extensive lists of restaurants and activities. It was one of my most memorable experiences!!!!!

Perfect for a long weekend

Great location. Walking distance to everything. Right across from the market. Beautifully decorated studio type apartment. The owners provided some thoughtful and convenient necessities, like coffee, water, and oh yes, a bottle of wine. The patio off the back overlooks the Ben and Jerry's courtyard, and was a great place to have desert and/or a glass of wine after a day of touring around Charleston.

Beautiful, clean and convenient! Terri and Carlos were a delight to work with and every need we could have had was met from the bottle of wine at arrival to the many choices of coffee and tea that were provided for out morning beverages. The location was perfectly located to everything and, even though the suite is on the 2nd floor right off the street, the noise level was almost non existent. We highly recommend this property and hope to return in the not so distant future.

Location, location, location!

I am a SC native. The apartment was extremely clean, inviting, charming and comfortable. The location was on my favorite street and we could walk to all my beloved restaurants and bars. We never had a full moment. We will be return customers. The hosts were absolute gems! Check our their shop!
