HEAVENLY HIDEAWAY 1 OR 2 BEDS

From my first contact email, this experience was superb. Barbara was always prompt with answering my queries, and very helpful. Payment was dealt with simply and efficiently. On arrival, the staff were very friendly, helpful and informative. The apartment was just perfect. Lots of space, great bathrooms, lovely balcony. Everything worked; all the equipment supplied was beyond our expectations, and the service from the staff was brilliant. The security was great, comfortably there but not overwhelming. The condition of everything on the site, from the pool area to the stairways, was immaculate. We really couldn't fault it. This isn't a remote location; it's in the heart of things, so on a couple of occasions music could be heard into the small hours, it wasnt loud or intrusive to us, and the reviews had alerted us to it anyway. There was never any noise from traffic or drunken holidaymakers. Every restaurant we used was extremely good. There are several stunning beaches within walking distance. All have bars with friendly, helpful staff and great food. Every beach we went to was incredibly well run! The facilities and service staff were exceptional, in fact that is true all over the island. Even remote beaches had immaculately clean amenities. We rented a car, which was delivered to the door within 30 minutes of our phone call! Impossible to say what we liked best, it was our first holiday in Barbados and we were stunned by the beauty of its scenery and people. The friendliness of every Bajan we met, from security staff to the old lady who made sure we got on the right bus, was incredible. One highlight was definitely Oistins on a friday night; not to be missed! Bridgetown had some great shops and bars. But, it was all so good, on our return to the UK we booked immediately to spend Christmas there this year.

Well, now we are back and firmly stuck behind our desks, I have time to write and tell you we had a marvellous time in Hideaway Heaven. Beautiful apartment, staff were all wonderful and I can honestly say its the best holiday Ive ever had!

I trust everything in the apartment was fine after our departure.

We chose this apartment as a starting point for our annual vacation and what a great decision it was. We were two couples,long time friends, and have nothing but good things to say about St.Lawrence Beach Apts. It's location was perfect, within a few minutes walking distance of great restaurants...we dined at Josef's, Pisces and David's Place and would highly reccommend them to everyone. The airconditioned apartment itself was well furnished with 2 B/R, 2 Bathrooms,and a balcony overlooking the private beach and pool. Security is excellent with the coded main entrance way and friendly evening security personnel. We arrived late at night and had no problem moving in with the assistance of the duty security man. Audrey,the Apt manager, stopped by the next morning to ensure all was well and to answer any questions we had. Because of our late arrival she had ensured we had a 'care package' (coffee, milk, fruit etc) to carry us thru breakfast until our quick trip to the nearby supermarket.. We hired a car and parking was conveniently located right in front.
Without a doubt this was by far the best possible way to spend our few days before joining our ship for our 7 day cruise.
