Wonderful owners and an incredible peaceful view to match!

  • 5 of 5
I really don't want to write this - selfish - I am concerned that I won't be able to visit again because it will all be booked up. Now for the facts- we are soooooooooooooooo glad we stayed there. It was so much more relaxing than staying in a condo on the beach. Waking up to the gobbles of turkeys....yes, turkeys... my husband and I watching the moon's reflection on an ocean that is half way up our line of vision, coffee that my husband had to go home with, owners that went out of their way to accommodate us, pool that was ours, what peace and relaxation....please everybody...save me a spot for next time.

Great place and great owners

  • 5 of 5
Our stay was incredible. I will surely be staying here again. The owners were wonderful and the house was even better than I thought it would be. The house had everything you need including beach chairs, coolers, beach mats. The pool and hot tub were incredible and all ours to use. The owners were close by for any questions or needs but never intrusive. The views and sun sets were to die for. It was great coming back to the house where it was cooler. Just far enough from town, yet close to everything!!! Make sure you go to the little general store near the house they are great people and have fantastic cookies!! Thanks Trudy and Dave!!! Our grandson said he wants to come back, thanks for a great stay!! I don't drink coffee but Bob said its great. See you soon I hope!!!

A Slice of Heaven!

  • 5 of 5
First let me say that the pictures are accurate. One thing the pictures cannot relate to you is the feeling of home. We are very particular and have high standards and this home met and exceeded our expectations. From the moment we opened the door, we saw a wall of glass that overlooked the Pacific Ocean. Breathtaking to say the least! The home is impeccably clean with wonderful floor plan that is open and spacious. The house is very tastefully furnished and all the amenities we have at our home are right here thanks to Trudy’s detailed mind. Dave and Trudy actually lived in this home first before moving to the other house on the property and their high standards are reflected in this renovated rental home. Being 1,500 ft. above sea level provides a wonderful temperate climate as it is always 5 – 8 degrees cooler during the day with a light breeze and lower humidity which was always a welcome relief when coming back home after a day on a hot beach. We did most of our dinners at the house since everything we needed was at our fingertips. The Weber BBQ was great and provided us with some of our best dinners as we sat on the lanai and took in the breathtaking sunsets. The mornings were our favorite time; sitting on the lanai and having our morning coffee (provided by the best Kona Coffee farm on the Island) and enjoying the peaceful view of the ocean, allowing us to have the quite time we were longing for during our stay. The pool you see in the pictures is perfect. There are jets in the pool, so if you prefer a real workout, you can swim against the current. The view from the pool is incredible. We spent many afternoons there enjoying a simple and non-rushed atmosphere, able to totally relax.
Dave and Trudy were wonderful and gave us assistance but always respected our privacy. Dave is an enthusiastic and charismatic man who has invested much time and energy building the Kona coffee farm business. He took time from his busy day managing the coffee farm and gave us a personal guided tour. Dave went through the entire process of the Kona coffee development. He is there to not only give you a perspective but also to teach you the many aspects of coffee farming. His work is reflected by all the awards their farm has received for having the best Kona coffee in cupping contests. Trudy is a warm and kind soul which reflects outward when you meet her. She is a gracious hostess and her love and hard work on the coffee farm are apparent by her personal attention and

Great views and coffee!

  • 5 of 5
We stayed on the beautiful coffee farm for 6 days. The place was clean, large, lots of amenities. Pool was nice and refreshing. The coffee was delicious. The owners were both friendly, respectful people. Trudy was such an amazing lady, funny, sweet and a genuine good hearted person. We felt like we were far enough out of town to enjoy the peace of the country with great ocean views, but not so far that it took a long time to get to get to groceries/restaurants. Our only downfall was that we missed getting a tour/explanation of how the coffee farm is run....but that was due to us always out exploring the island. We would definitely return and recommend this rental to others.

Owner's Response: Thank you so much for the kind review. Trudy and I enjoyed getting to know you guys. Sorry you could not squeeze in time for the farm tour. So much to do on this island, it is difficult to get it all in on a short vacation. Please come back and we'll make certain you get a full tour of our coffee farm operations. Thank you again for the wonderful review. Aloha, Dave and Trudy.

Great getaway

  • 5 of 5
We had a great time on our honeymoon at Heavenly Hawaiian. Dave & Trudy are great hosts. We enjoyed drinking out fresh coffee while overlooking the coffee fields from which it came, and the ocean and whales in the distance. The coffee farm is close enough to Kona town to enjoy that daily, but far enough away to feel a bit more remote and relazing. The two bedroom villa was very clean, and stocked with the essentials. The internet was out while we were there, so Dave graciously lent us his laptop with a Verizon card so we could have access. And to top it off, as we were leaving, Trudy made sure our bags were stuffed with as much coffee (and chocolate covered coffee beans) as we could fit.
