About Laurie

This home was where my grandma lived for over 58 years. It is very special to me and I would like to share it with you. The home has a very loving and caring feeling, just like my grandma. You will find a book on one room school houses in the Living Room and that is where my grandma taught.

Laurie purchased this house in 2008

What makes this house unique

Excellent restaurants within walking distance, art galleries and shopping a few blocks away, fly fishing or rafting the Yellowstone a mile away. Skiing just 1/2 hour away. Lots of possibilities for all seasons.

At Home

Very satisfied with this historic home and ideal town location. Walking distance to famous Rib and Chops house and markets. Laurie is accommodating and attentive especially if you have an extended stay such as we did. The neighborhood is warm and the locals kind and helpful when encountered. The home if very clean and amenities ample. Nice one full bathroom on main level, none on upper level. Each room is very private. Good base for Livingston and surrounding area. Considering other area properties for what you get, this is one of the best for your money.

Perfect location!

  • 4 of 5
Very clean, comfortable home in the perfect spot for active vacationers. The home is right off the downtown, and is an easy walk to the Yellowstone River. Both of these activities were great bookends to my time in Montana. In between, this home serves as a great home base for biking, hiking, rafting, fishing, and seeing part of Yellowstone. The locals are all extremely friendly, and Laurie is accommodating.

The one drawback is the air conditioning. While there are window units, the upstairs gets quite warm and some of the windows do not have screens or do not open. But, for ease of location and friendliness, this is a great place.

Cute house, close to downtown

  • 4 of 5
My family and I stayed in this house for two nights at the end of our Yellowstone trip. The owner was very accommodating on such short notice. The house was very clean and functional. It is an older house with some updates. The location was great -- could easily walk to downtown Livingston. The location also gave us a better feel for the town as it is an actual neighborhood, not a tourist area. The kitchen is fully stocked, and there are lots of charming finishes around the house. Definitely recommend!

Great location!

  • 4 of 5
My family and I rented this adorable house for two nights as we beginning our road trip in MT and ID. It was the perfect location for us to ride our bikes up to the arena where we were able to see fireworks! We also rode our bikes down to the park and basically all over town. The kitchen/dining area was the spot for us to plan our next stop with maps and guidebooks all spread out, while close enough to the action of getting dinner cooked. The neighbors were all friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back! The *only* reason we gave 4 stars is because the air conditioner was on the fritz, but the window units helped our sleeping areas.
