DOWN TOWN BEND AND THE OLD MILL DISTRICT

Bend Bungalow Rental Photos and Description

Charming newly restored 2 bedroom 2 bath home in old Bend downtown neighborhood.

This 1926 home has been newly restored to bring it's old time charm back to life with contemporary conveniences.

The new kitchen has oak cabinets with granite counters, copper sink, and new appliances including a washer and dryer.

Refinished hardwood floors throughout this home gently remind us of it's past with character and warmth.

The 2 bedrooms are furnished with luxurious queen beds and the master has a new private bathroom with a walk-in tiled shower. The hall bath too has new tiled tub/shower and marble floor.

Guests are sure to gather in the spacious living/dining room or outside in the private backyard setting or front fenced yard, that offer privacy yet a view to the neighborhood.

We are just a few blocks from downtown and one block from Jackson's Corner, the local corner lunch and dinner eatery with adult beverages. Strictly Organic coffee is just 2 blocks away, and Between the Covers book store is just around the corner.

Something is sure to be happening and you will be just steps away from it all in this cozy home.

We have lived in Central Oregon for over 40 years, building homes and communities in Sunriver, Bend, Redmond and Sisters. Having lived near downtown ourselves, this home exemplifies our favorite neighborhood that Central Oregon has to offer!

Gretchen Palmer purchased this bungalow in 2011

This home is an ideal location for all the events that we enjoy in Central Oregon. Within walking distance to the numerous restaurants and shops in downtown and the Old Mill, this home is perfect! An easy stroll in a quaint neighborhood brings back memories of a less complicated lifestyle. Access is easy to the road to the mountains and the lakes where the paths and trails beckon.

The charm of this 1926 home is warm and inviting, from the arched doorways and hardwood floors to the old school lighting and even retro door hardware. The new somewhat art-deco ceiling fans and fixtures harken back to simpler times while providing guests with today's conveniences.

A charming home with an exceptional location in downtown Bend.

WONDERFUL HOUSE!

  • 5 of 5
Had a great weekend in Bend and this house was perfect for our needs (couples weekend + dogs). So close to everything, we walked downtown and also to 10 barrels and crux (both in the opposite direction). House had everything we needed, was very clean, modern and just adorable! Setting everything up for our reservation was also very easy and stress free!

WHAT A FIND!

  • 5 of 5
My husband, myself, and another couple stayed here for the weekend, and everyone kept saying, "what a find!". Cute little place in a GREAT location, old historic charm but remodeled from top to bottom. Very clean and well looked after. Gretchen was friendly and prompt with her response times, we felt very well taken care of. We'll all definitely be back!

NICE BUNGALOW, GREAT LOCATION

  • 5 of 5
Just home from five days in Bend. Such a cool town with lots of outdoor activities and great eateries. The home we rented was nicely furnished with great amenities. We could walk to the Old Mill or downtown with ease. The owner was quick to respond and easy to deal with. Two suggestions for dining---->CHOW for breakfast and lunch, CRUX for lunch or dinner. The home has a great kitchen and my husband cooked a few nights.
