Honolulu Condo Rental Photos and Description

Comfortable, affordable, convenient - Downtown/Honolulu

The property is located at the Executive Centre in Honolulu's Downtown/ Financial District. The Executive Centre is a 41-story, mixed use complex (hotel, residential and commercial property) that is conveniently accessible to public transportation, freeway access, and within walking distance to State, City, and Federal buildings, financial institutions, hospitals (Queens, Straub, Kaiser, Kuakini), Hawaii Pacific University, University of Phoenix, University of Hawaii, and many of Honolulu's historic buildings and attractions in the Downtown area (Iolani Palace, Kamehameha Statue, Chinatown, Aloha Tower, Mission House Museum, Hawaii State Art Museum, State Capital). The unit overlooks Hotel Street and the reserved parking and unit are both located on the 8th floor. Parking and wi-fi are included in the daily rate (no additional fees).

The unit is spacious (525 SF), comfortable, and affordable. There is a queen-size bed and a full-size sofa bed, room for 3-4 people. Whether you are here for business, leisure, or for family functions, our mission is to meet your travel needs, to save you a little $ when you visit Honolulu, and to offer you an opportunity to stay in the Downtown/Financial/ Historic District -- the Heart of Honolulu.

Enjoy fresh fruits, vegetables, and local favorites at the Fort Street farmers market on Tuesdays and Fridays or visit the numerous eateries in the Chinatown/Downtown neighborhood that offer international flavors. The famous Murphy's Bar & Grill is two blocks away (featured on the Food Network Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives and is where the St. Patrick Day Block Party takes place). Explore the neighborhood on foot to find eclectic boutiques, cafes, bars, restaurants, bargains and treasures, or hop on the bus or take a drive to nearby neighborhoods -- Ala Moana, Ward Centre, Waikiki, Kailua, Kaimuki, Kahala, North Shore -- anywhere you want to holoholo (get out and go places). Everything you need is within reach so pack your bags and enjoy a little Aloha. E Komo Mai (Welcome in).

Together with my family, we have stayed at Home Away/VRBO properties in SF, Seattle, Portland, and Boston and found this hotel-alternative a fun and interesting way to travel. As a family, we enjoy the local experience and select places to stay where we can experience living in a city versus visiting a city. I am a Certified Public Accountant/Investment Advisor Representative, with a small practice in Downtown, Honolulu near Bishop Square. I am a resident of Hawaii where I have been most of my life and will be here to assist you should you need anything during your stay. My wife is also from Hawaii and is a resource as well. We love Hawaii, our island home.

George Roberts purchased this condo in 2004

The Executive Centre is the only mixed use property (hotel, residence, and commercial) in the Heart of Downtown's Financial and Historic District. In Downtown Honolulu, parking is expensive and hard to come by -- so having a reserved parking space is a plus.

The property is convenient for travelers visiting Oahu for business, extended stays, families that need a place to stay when their home is being renovated, folks in town for family reunions, weddings, and special events. The location is easy to get in and out of (easy access to freeways and main surface streets). If you have a car, the reserved stall is located on the same floor as the unit -- and that's a convenience factor that many of the other units are unable to offer. If you chose to get around by bus or taxi, these transportation modes are just few steps away. The unique benefit of this Executive Centre unit is that the daily rate is reasonable and includes a reserved parking space, wi-fi, is more spacious than a hotel room (525 SF with two rooms), reasonable cleaning (out) fees, and 24 hour security. There's a well-equipped kitchenette for light meals, gear for beach/park outings (mat, chairs, towels); for longer stays, laundry service is available (United Laundry) or convenient, coin-operated washers/dryers are located on the 3rd floor.

We had such an amazing stay here! The owners made it very easy! The property was nice, clean, and well appointed. It is close to shopping and eateries! The owners even left us some homemade guava jam for breakfast! I would definitely stay here again! Mahalo!

Owner's Response: We had bumper crop guava in 2013 and we are pleased to share our home made guava jam with our guests while supplies last. We are so glad you enjoyed the jam -- and your stay. Mahalo for sharing your experience and review.

This condo is very well taken care of, very clean, and as advertised. For Honolulu it is a great value for the money, including garage parking right next to the entry door to the condo which makes it very convenient, and internet. The owners are also great hosts in providing lots of little extras that you would not normally expect to find in a rental, and reservations, check-in, and check out are done easily. It is most convenient for a person working in the central business district or wanting to spend time in bordering Chinatown with it's many restaurants, although its location makes it central to most tourist attractions as well. If you want to or need to be in the downtown area, it certainly is a great alternative to the Ala Moana or Waikiki areas with all the traffic and congestion there. The bed is comfortable, there is a desk for working, a small entry area, and kitchenette. Ideal for one or two people who want a central location and garage parking. It would certainly recommend the unit and will stay there again if it is available during future travel.

Owner's Response: The location is in the Heart of Honolulu's Financial District - Bishop Square -- so for those here on business, you have your private, reserved stall right here -- no need to worry about the expensive Downtown parking rates. The extras -- that's from our heart - our aloha to welcome you in -- to make you feel at home. Mahalo!

We normally fill our trips with lots of activities and we rarely spend much time in the room. This was our first trip using VRBO, but we were more than pleased with our stay. Jeanette was such a pleasant hostess, she truly made us feel welcomed upon our arrival. Jeanette & George's unit has so many little added touches that you feel like a guest in someone's home and not like you are staying in a hotel or condo. We felt so comfortable and relaxed on this trip that we slowed things down. We spent most of our time exploring the area. We checked out the sights, found little shops and restaurants within walking distance nearby. Very convenient location to all that we needed to do on this trip. There was a little street level Farmer's Market / Craft Fair on Friday. We purchased fresh baked goods that went perfectly with the home made jam from George & Jeanette's backyard (the jam was wonderfully delicious). There were 4 of us staying in the unit, but everything was setup so nicely that we never felt on top of each other - we all felt like we had a lot of personal space. The parking was convenient for loading/unloading luggage and the unit located just around the corner was such a breeze. We would definitely look into staying at Jeanette & George's for future trips if the unit is available. Mahalo from our Ohana to yours!

What a great place to stay and we loved the view. Jeanette was so generous and helpful with all her recommendations. This condo was so convenient to historical sites, restaurants and shopping. The parking space was a bonus. I will definitely recommend this condo to my family and friends.

Owner's Response: All you need to do is pack your bags and come and enjoy a little aloha. We invite you in to our VRBO to experience living in Honolulu for a while -- e komo mai (PS we think the Heart of Honolulu is great too).

Very nice and comfortable condo downtown. The Roberts are wonderful hosts and made us feel very welcome with homemade treats and a warm "Aloha!"

Having so many amenities close by on the street level was nice.

Looking forward to returning in two years when Long Beach State men's volleyball plays UH again.

Owner's Response: There might be a treat made from guava or lemons depending on the season -- we love Hawaii our island home and what better way to share Hawaii than with a little taste of homegrown aloha when we can.
