The Masterpiece apartment:
This is an unbelivable apartment with hotel standards located in the heart of the ancient Rome and it has a private priceless terrace!
Try to imagine doing breakfast or dinner on the Terrace.... this would be an unforgettable experience.
The building is more than 400 years and in the living room there is still the original wood ceiling!
It is on 4th floor, up on my other property 'The Medieval Apartment' (3° floor): here you can find many reviews about me and my work!
'The Masterpiece apartment' is a charming 2 bedroom apartment, adjacent to the world famous 'Campo de' fiori', within walking distance to all major monuments and museums in town and next to a Church of 1306 AC, Santa Barbara dei librai.
The apartment is equipped with amenities such as kitchen, bathroom, and a fantastic living room with a pull out couch that can comfortably sleep two with a special mattress to add on!
This apartment is connected with CABLE TV so you can see all world's channels
The property is on 4° floor with no elevator (less than 60 steps to do) like in all the original buildings in the area and there are 8 more steps to get from the kitchen to the terrace.
I know 60 steps could be bad... but usually all my guests do them 1 time ad day, coming back home. So no problem! And also... the view from the Terrace is priceless!
The amazing old square downstairs boasts a number of attractions which keeps it busy most hours of the day, but the vibrant life outside is quieted by the new installed windows!!
Two supermarkets are 2 minutes walking distance
The apartment is equipped with:
- 2 air conditioners (room and living room)
- 2 lcd televisions (room and living room, world channels only in living room)
- 1 dvd player (living room)
- wi-fi (unlimited and pretty fast)
- Fully equipped kitchen (fridge, microwave, boiler, ecc)

I was born in Rome 29 years ago and I still live here, working for a soft drink company:
I have a university degree in social psichology , focused on consumer behavior.
I love to travel, meet new people, have fun! I love sports like soccer and tennis table, as I love board games.
I love to welcome my guests! I love to see your eyes in Rome for the first time! I love to be part of your perfect holiday: I strongly believe that a great experience in town starts from a nice apartment, that is why I do my best everyday to keep my properties in perfect status and let you just love your stay.
You can email me anytime if you have questions about my property: my focus is to answer as soon as I can to let you take the right decision.... experience Rome with me!
If you will be my guest you will have 24h support during your stay: you will be provided of a local mobile phone (and a local sim) to call/text whenever you need.
Because of my work (from Monday to Friday until 5:15 pm) I can't be there for check in: because of that a friend of mine will welcome you as you get here! But in the afternoon I love to meet ALL my guests for a coffee or a drink together... or maybe just a quick 'ciao'!
If you have any question about booking with me, feel free to email anytime!
Thank you so much for reading this and for noticing my property!
See you soon here,
Luca purchased this apartment in 2012
LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION
TERRACE TERRACE TERRACE
The location: perfect. In the city center, walking distance to ALL monuments, museums, things to do.
The Terrace: absolutely spectacular! There is no way to describe it!
There are a number of reasons I would recommend this one-bedroom flat, but they all begin with the rooftop terrace, the great location next to Fiori Market, and the welcoming owner who met us and showed us around. We spent a week here and were able to walk easily to the Pantheon, the Coliseum, the historic Jewish ghetto, and across the Tiber River to Trastevere...and that gives you access to all that these areas offer in great restaurants, museums, and monuments. Not much further, you have an easy and enjoyable walk down cobblestone streets to the Vatican and Sant'Angelo where Robert Langdon found the connection between Saint Peter's Square and the home of the Illuminati! You have to like stairs here, 5 floors up, and you have to remember the plaza below has the noise of many shoppers and tourists and just people going to the fabulous Fiori Market. But the apartment is the way to see this half of a truly great city!
This was our first time to Rome!!! We absolutely loved the location and Luca was a fabulous host! Lots of sightseeing advice...thank you. The apartment was clean and well appointed. The terrace was an added plus with such lovely views. Thank you so much Luca for your kindness...cheers Bev and Rick
Great apartment, great location! This place made our trip to Rome even more enjoyable. Clean and comfortable and the roof top terrace provided terrific views of the city. Just a couple of blocks from Campo di Fiori made you feel like you were really part of what was happening. We would highly recommend the apartment and it was a pleasure working with Luca.
This fantastic apartment is as pictured! The rooftop terrace is beyond words. Very clean and tidy, small kitchen but worth working with so you can dine on the terrace! So many little extras to make your stay comfortable. The host cares very much about his guests. Not just your happiness but your saftey as well. A phone is offered to keep in touch for questions or emergencies. There is a washer and clothes drying rack for those of us who travel lite. The location is fabulous in the heart of old Rome. So close to so much it still makes my head spin! It is hard to express all that covers this wonderful place. If you are considering a stay in Rome, and will take some time to know your surroundings...this IS the place to stay. If we are ever so lucky to go back this would be our home again! Even with the stairs!!
Don't skip the bakery on the other side of Campo Di Fiori, and don't miss the market!
Take advantage of the offer of a driver to and from the apartment. The driver is in contact with the host and makes arriving and departing very stress free. They were very professional and kind. Definately worth the extra money, and less expensive than a cab. This is a must stay place, I will never forget!!
We stayed in Lucas apartment for 4 nights in September. Before arriving Luca could not have been more helpful. There wasn't a question I asked that he didn't get immediately back to me with a helpful answer. Even after we arrived he was very helpful to us. The apartment is Lovely but it is compact. We were 4 adults sharing one shower so at times it seemed crowded. My favorite thing to do was to walk up to the private upstairs terrace. So beautiful. One morning I awoke early before anyone else and went upstairs with my camera. The Sun started to rise and I started video taping. Then the church bells all started to chime...it was a moment that I will always remember. The only note of warning I should add is it is a 68 stair walk-up with no elevator. Startling at first but became almost fun towards the end. More for me then my poor husband to had to carry all the luggage. So not recommended for anyone with disabilities. We walked to all the best sights of Rome. Took a bus once to Basilica as that was a bit far for us to walk at that point. Have Dinner right next to Pantheon at night. So beautiful!! Thank you Luca for a wonderful memory of Rome.
We have stayed in this property previously and only have good things to say about it. Luca is extremely responsive to any questions we may have had and the apartment is very comfortable. It was a treat to have an umbrella added on the terrace this year as we loved sitting there in the late afternoon with a glass of wine and the umbrella helped to provide some shade from the hot sun. The kitchen, although small, is well equipped with everything we needed.
