Grizzly Mountain Cabin is a luxury 2 story home with 3 bedrooms 2-1/2 baths, 2800 sf of living space, located directly across the street from Washou Meadows state park, hiking,biking, cross country skiing, snow shoeing, 15 minutes to Sierra at Tahoe ski resort, Heavenly Valley and Casinos. AMENITIES include beautiful view, upstairs private outdoor deck,hot tub, gas fireplace, large kitchen with gorgeous skip peeled dining room table (seats eight), separate stove top island seats 4 more, large living room with TV, DVD, and stereo also sleeper sofa, large half bath with washer and dryer, large master bedroom/bathroom with shower and separate Jacuzzi. DOWNSTAIRS: living room with gas fireplace beautiful chair and sleeper sofa, full bathroom, guest bdrm with TV/VCR and queen bed, 2nd guest bdrm sleeps 4 with TV/DVD. 2 car garage with large driveway. Large backyard.

Why Kurt chose North Upper Truckee

We purchased this property in the Upper Truckee Area because it is one of the nicest most peaceful areas in South Lake. I am a avid skier and boater the property is centrally located to Heavenly Valley, Sierra at Tahoe, Kirkwood and 5 Miles From the Lake Tahoe Marina. Our property is close enough to the night life of South Lake Tahoe when we want to play, yet quite and serene when we want to get away.

What makes this house unique

We have very fond memories in this house. We love the cabin feel nestled in the pines, it feels like your inside a snow globe when the snow is falling

Excellent New Years getaway great for the family!

Let me just say the property owners are a dream to work with and are great at communication. If you are looking for a place to get away then this is the place far enough out you feel secluded but close enough to hit the slopes or the slots. House has everything you need and is well kept and very clean plenty of room for everyone. The hot tub was fun to sit in and watch the snow fall around us. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family. And we hope to be back soon!
