Welcome to Dockside. This unique and picturesque coastal cottage in Southwest Harbor, Maine overlooks one of the most gorgeous harbors in the area. In Southwest Harbor you can enjoy a mix of the working waterfront plus pleasure boating. Dockside has appeal to writers and artists. based on an island that they saw from their front porch. There are wonderful restaurants, choices, or simply stroll to the Lobster Dock to pick out your own lobster, and enjoy a private dinner at home, by the warmth of the fire place.

Southwest Harbor has an active marine industry base of boat builders, marinas, and lobster boats.

Dockside watches all of this from it’s peaceful perch. It is the Real Maine...Simple! “The way Life Should Be!”

Dockside is on one of Maine's few true working waterfronts. Many of our guest enjoy fishing off from the dock, and talking with real lobstermen! Some of the guest have even gone out lobstering!

We have a lot of nature's creatures, deer often walk through the lawn, plus we have eagles and osprees flying with the sea gulls and ravens overhead. And, we can't forget the seals and dolphins that live in our harbor.
