We really enjoyed our stay in London. The location of the apartment was perfect and the nearest underground station was only a 5 minute walk. The studio provided everything we needed and the Tesco-supermarket was close by.

Great studio, close to all type of transportation. Places to eat and also a market to buy food to keep at the studio. Very safe any time to leave or to arrive. Perfect for a couple. a plus to have the washer and dryer. we had breakfast every day and very confi.
we will arrive late at night with no problem and by public transportation. We will love to come back and stayed at the same place. Great!!!

GREAT STUDIO!

Overall great experience! The studio is small, but very clean and comfortable. It is very conveniently located near public transport (30 second walk to bus stop, 5 -10 minute walk to tube station) and located off of the road to reduce noise from traffic.

The kitchen has a hot plate and microwave, so don't expect to cook large meals, but it is great for breakfast.

There are a few pubs and restaurants nearby, but it is largely a residential area. There is a large grocery store within a 10 minute walk.

The owners were quite helpful in the rental process and have assembled a helpful book of maps and menus of nearby restaurants.

This studio was perfect for our trip! We typically made breakfast in the studio and spent our days seeing the sights in the city. I would definitely recommend this to friends!

GREAT PLACE, GOOD CONNECTIONS, EASY LANDLORD

This place is a very nice modern studio, made out of an old garage. There was more than enough space for two, buses to Piccadilly Circus (20 min) and other central locations run literally from across the street. With one change one can reach just anything. There is also a direct 40-50 min bus service to Paddington Station (Heathrow Express/Connect). The closest Tube (Nortnern Line) is ten minutes away, but it is much easier to take a bus at least for the first leg.

Tesco is five minutes' walk away and there are several restaurants within a walking distance. The closest rent-a-bike station is by Tesco.

The apartment had all basic amenities one could hope for, from washer/dryer to iron and hairdryer - except for a TV set, which we did not find a loss at all. All furniture is modern and in top shape. There is absolutely no view but the huge skylight makes up to it, letting both sun and moonlight shine in.

We encountered no serious problems, so we really cannot say how they are solved. The w-lan router stopped working at one point late at night, the landlord swiftly rebooted it the following day. There is only one hot plate instead a stove/range but the microwave is just as convenient, so making/heating food was not a problem for us.

Will definitely rent again for our trips to London.

AMAZING VALUE!

We absolutely loved it!
SO close to all the "important" city sights (Westminster, Picadilly Circus, etc.), really great bus links to even seemingly more remote areas (360 to South Kensington from Kennington Road station). (Do travel by bus, so much more you see if not taking the tube (which is also close by)!) Tesco's just down the next street, which is very convenient.
The studio's a comfy + chic place to stay, very neat and quiet. Peter and Patrycja were especially helpful; if the toilet drain goes on strike, vigorous plunging does the trick :-)
If you don't feel like cooking yourself, the Fish 'n' Chips place on Windmill Row is quite recommendable, clean & yummy.
If time permits, we'll be back in due time.

I can't say much more than this really is an excellent base when visiting London - the location with the transport networks are too convenient and the facilities offered in the unit even better. Special mention to Peter & Pati who went out of their way to assist wherever possible during my 10 day stay.

New built, clean with wooden floors in the living room/bedroom area & porcelain tiles in the bathroom and kitchen. It is self contained with its own front door and above a small firm of architects. The building is detached. Very warm & cosy, off the main road & therefore away from a lot of traffic pollution. We ask residents to remove their shoes in the flat and it is therefore a low allergen environment. Would suite a person working in London or those visiting. It is currently popular with Opera singers at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden and the English National Opera due to its proximity to those venues. It also suits Cricket Fans as it is within 8 minutes walking distance to the Oval Cricket Ground. In addition executives working at Shell - Waterloo, MP's and those visiting at the Houses of Parliament and Lambeth Palace; all within walking distance.
