I'm a father of three young kids, a builder, teacher, and traveler. Surfing and skiing are my two favorite sports right now. When I'm not in Costa Rica I live in Michigan.

We built these vacation homes because we enjoyed visiting and living in Dominical but there was not a high quality rental home in the town of Dominical.

We built what wished Dominical had: high quality environmetally responsible homes with ocean views, a place to relax but be able to access the ocean or town without having to get in car

What makes this villa unique

The beach, the surf, the amenities of being right in town, but on a quiet street. We are literally the only high quality house right in town. It is a great feeling to walk with your surf board or book just a few steps and be the waters edge. Thats what makes these homes unique, if you want a beach experience and want to access the town this is the only place to stay!!

The essence of comfort and relaxation

Myself and three other women spent a week at the property. The house is true to the pictures - spacious and new with all the amenities you need for a relaxing and comfortable stay (e.g., A/C). The futon was not comfortable for an adult to sleep on but the owner said he plans to remedy that. The private pool was a major perk and was a perfect place to chill after a day of adventure. The property is nestled in a field/grove filled with birds and grazing horses but is just a mellow stroll to the beach or town. The property caretaker and the owner, who happened to be there, were extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely go back to this affordable tropical paradise.

Awesome House in Dominical!!

Rented this place for a week along with my boyfriend and two other couples. The house was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed--TV for lazy days, blender for making fruity drinks, A/C and private pool to cool off in--literally everything! Internet was super fast.

Dominical was a perfect location if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of a city but still have all the amenities you need. Great food restaurants (costa rican, mexican, thai, japanese, pizza, wings) within walking distance and easy access to the beach within minutes. It was easy to rent surfboards for extremely cheap and booking tours seemed like it'd be a cinch. It was really nice to be in a smaller town with less tourists. Didn't have to worry about cars roaming everywhere, and there was a car rental right in town if you wanted to rent one (which we did). We went to the waterfalls nearby and it was awesome and Playa Ventanas with the caves was also nearby and cool. A national surf competition was being held in Dominical but unfortunately it was being held the day after I left.

Joe was really great and easy to communicate with. He answered all my questions quickly and even helped book transportation from SJO to Dominical and recommended awesome places to see. Definitely want to come back again in the future! Thanks for the stay!!

Perfect Vacation Getaway

My husband and I brought our 3 boys here for our winter break in Feburary and we loved it so much that we booked it for Christmas!

We looked and looked for the perfect spot for our active family and found it right in Dominical. What a gem this place turned out to be! It was even better than we expected! Our villa was very private yet walking distance to the beach and the town of Dominical . We didn't need to use our car much which was perfect for our family. We practically lived at the beach it was so close. Dominical was equally as close that we often walked to town for dinners or to just pick up groceries.

Did I mention the pool right on the back patio? Our boys loved to play in this in the morning as we had our coffee & in the evening after coming back from the beach.

The interior is very simple yet beautifully done. The teak wood is simply lovely and the kitchen has stainless steel appliances.The villa was quite spacious for a family of five (plus our dog!) yet it felt cozy. When we didn't feel like going out to dinner, we stayed in and cooked. It was perfect having dinner as we watched the sun go down.

We arrived to a very clean and well stocked house (sheets, towels, cleaning & paper products & even boogie boards!).

This is the type of place that once it gets known, it will become a very popular vacation villa.

Have travelled to many places - Dominical is special and this property aligns perfectly with the energy of it.Brand new buildings. Incredible. Love the design. Eco-friendly elements. Location is wonderful. A few hundred yards from beach - not up in the hills. Comfortable. Relaxing. Amazing all around. Such a great property! Group of friends rented three units for a week. Spacious. Had plenty of space to be together. And, at the end of the day, a perfect balance of privacy at night.

Would recommend: waterfalls, zip line, surfing, beach walks, hiking, swimming. And just relaxing.

We're coming back!

Already booked our return trip.

This villa has it all. A great location-close to the water and within an easy walk to everything I needed in town. I did not want to deal with a car. The villa is brand new and well constructed. It is modern, comfortable and built with attention to detail. You can tell the owner spent some time on these! I would recommend this spot as a great place to stay for a vacation with family or friends. For the money it is one of the best places I have been. I plan to return.
