VACATION HOME RENTAL: 1 BEDROOM, SLEEPS 4 IN SAN CASCIANO IN VAL DI PESA

My husband and I stayed here for 5 days. The location is perfect for exploring all the important sights in Tuscany. Located on a vineyard in the heart of Chianti, we were able to drive easily in one day to San Garibaldi, Siena, Cortona and Arezzo. The next day we went to Pisa and Florence with adequate time to visit both cities thoroughly. We took one full day and went to Cinque Terre, the famous Italian Riviera, it is only a 2hr 15 min drive away. On the drive back we stopped in Lucca for a short visit and to have our last dinner in Tuscany. Not only was this the perfect for location for convenience to tourist areas, it is a perfect place to relax. It sits in a scenic valley in Chianti with charming mountain views, it is very quiet. If wine tasting is your passion, you won’t have to go far! You could spend one day touring the many wineries located near the farm house. The apartment itself is immaculate, cleaner than some high class hotels we have stayed at. It was fully equipped with everything we needed. We cooked breakfast every morning and a couple of dinners. There is a well-stocked grocery store nearby. Andrea, the owner, is very helpful and accommodating. He greeted us when we arrived with their own wine and olive oil. This alone is worth the visit! His wine is amazing. Stay here, you won’t be disappointed, you’ll go home with memories that will have you dreaming of Tuscany and your next visit.
