This is a very unique, quiet setting out in the vineyards
neighboring country of Paso Robles. There are lots of wine tasting close
Hubby, me, and our pup went on a road trip and stayed here for a week. It was so beautiful and quiet! Very tidy place and all the comforts of home. We would venture out in the morning and come back in the afternoon. Sat in the sunshine and enjoyed our dinner meals at the place. So relaxing, we "talked" to the resident bull in the pasture, chatted with the 2 chickens, lol. Everything was clean and looked just like the photos. I would recommend this place plus it is close to many wineries. It's about 6.5 miles to town so not far from stores, etc.
My husband and I loved this property! We had been traveling for 2 months, and it was the perfect spot to slow down - quiet, relaxing, comfortably appointed and a beautiful setting. The house and grounds are lovingly cared for by the owners. We knew there were lots of wineries in the area, but we could not bring ourselves to go exploring. We spent our days relaxing and reading in the sun in the beautiful gardens or hiking through the pastures with our pup. Town is less than 10 miles away, so there are many restaurants, grocery stores and shops in the area if you are looking for activities outside the property. If you book the cottage, please note that there is no cable. We took videos; and the internet is very good, so we were able to stream some movies.
I almost don't want to write a review because I don't want anyone else to know about this incredible spot! The property is like something from a magazine, the house so comfortable and perfect, the chickens, the exercise hut, the fields, the views from the hilltops, all of it couldn't have been more precious and perfect. The owners are kind and gentle, and they leave you with the utmost privacy. And, best of all, they are incredibly dog friendly, which is the most important asset to any rental property! Thanks, Dave and Cecilia! Loved it! Feel honored to have stayed there and hope to again and again.
My mom and I fell in love with this place, there is so much heart there you
can just feel it. Chickens producing fresh eggs each morning, the country hay
fields, serenity, peace, and just perfect. The property was hard to leave honestly, but we did venture out to the coast. There is a beautiful organic store 3 miles away perfect
for what you may need (no dairy). This place is too good to be true!! Can't wait to come back!! I have stayed at a lot of vrbo, and this is by far a return trip. My mom was in
heaven, our little pups loved the enclosed fenced property. Thank you !!!!!
We spent a week in paradise and wished we could stay longer. The rolling hills, pristine skies, and Edenesque gardens were peaceful and relaxing. The chickens left eggs each day for us, and we watched the cattle stroll on the adjacent hills. Time moves quickly in this place, and like in a fog, the end creeps up much too fast. Our stay will always be with me, a memorable and wonderful time. Thank you so much.

My husband and I brought our 2 big dogs with us and stayed for a few days, leaving on New Year's Day. We have stayed in Pismo Beach, Morro Bay and Cambria on several occasions in the past, but we had never been in the Paso Robles area. We loved both the house and the town! On our way up, we stopped at a beach in the Morro Bay area that unofficially allows off-leash dogs. The house is adorable and the fenced yard is really big! Each room is so well decorated. There are chickens in a coop (that weren't laying eggs, unfortunately) and cows in the pasture, and lots of plant life around, though you could tell it was winter. The owners used to live there and the house has a very welcoming feeling. I suggest that you bring or rent DVDs, since there is is a flat screen TV but no cable or satellite. (There is wifi, but for some reason, we were unable to access it after the first night.) It was so quiet and we loved going outside at night and seeing all the stars! Every day, we would go into town and before we returned, we stopped at the market and bought food and rent RedBox DVDs. There is also a very nice dog park that our "girls" loved, and so did we. We met other dog owners and very much enjoyed spending time with them. There are great restaurants in town and the downtown area is really nice. I highly recommend that you stay here!
The Paso Robles area is well know for a wine grape growning area and many well know wineries large and small. Some times referred to as 'little Napa'.
