Disappointing, but Taylor Made did their best ...
I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
I was very happy with the location.
The vacation rental was clean.
The property manager was adequately helpful.
Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental.
Disappointing, but Taylor Made did their best to make it better
Our weekend away started with some of our party driving past the home before check in time, just to get a sneak peak of the location and witnessed active exterior construction. While we were concerned with the work being done during our stay, the construction company cleaned up as best as they could around our check in time. Even though Taylor Made was not aware of the active construction going on, they were quick to act and offer other homes. By that time, we had already started to make dinner and chalked the mess outside (including a port a potty in the front yard) to just bad luck. We received a small credit for our distress. The stay continued to decline when we noticed that dishes were put back in the cabinets dirty, we had a swarm of flies around the master BR balcony, the port a potty and the front of the house (which entered the master bedroom and made quite a mess), lights that were located on the stairs at a toddler's level got so hot that they gave my 3 year old 2nd degree burns on his little fingers just by leaning on them as he walked down the stairs. All in all our stay was filled with issues, but Taylor Made was active in trying to make things better. We will try Taylor Made again in the future and will hope that this example of their rentals was just a one time occurrence.

Annie, I want to apologize to you again for the experience that you had encounter. There was miscommunication on our end regarding the upgrades that were being made to the property. I hope your little one is feeling better, and I wanted to let you know that we are addressing the lights going down the stairs to see what was going on that made them get so warm. Please let me know when you go to set up your reservation again, and we will apply to gift certificate that we gave you for the inconvenience that you experienced.
